Basically Texas is showing interest in various elite RBs but until one of them acutally gets in the portal it's all talk is what I'm picking up...

I’ve said it multiple times. Texas is all in for 2026. Texas isn’t just trying to fill out its roster in the portal. An elite running back is a priority. That’s the current thinking at least. We’ll see how things go and who actually ends up in the portal. Lacy, of course, is from Lancaster originally.

The last time I saw anything so fast on tape I was watching Ryan Williams High School film. That is a rare speed. His ability to outrun fast Florida players who have an angle on him is very telling.

Nebraska has been pretty amazing this year, 33-0 record. They have lost 7 sets the entire year. That includes 1 set in their last 24 matches! That is insane, thats 72 sets won and 1 set lost in the last 73. So.....the best thing for Texas would be Nebraska being knocked off prior to the final. Do we root for Texas A&M to knock them out?

GLUE! Every team needs "Glue Guys" who do great things on and off the field. Thanks to Ms.Rubell. As a Texas Ex and the father of a Longhorn alumna (BS '17 with High Honors) I appreciate her thoughtfulness. I also appreciate her son's accomplishments on the field and in the classroom. I played high school football in Texas and would have done anything to wear the Burnt Orange but I didn't have the physical tools needed for college football. But I know what it takes.
