Have received a few DM’s on a tweet from National CBK analyst Jon Rothstein yesterday Not taking a shot at Rothstein, as he does a very good job covering college basketball. I do want to say Spears Jr., Punch and Vokietaitis aren’t expected to be in a starting lineup together. That doesn’t mean there couldn’t be a select matchup at some point to start them, but it’s not in the plans currently. I do believe there will be a matchup or couple of them in which you can play all three for some short stretches (maybe Florida a little come January). The issues with that lineup become floor spacing and rotation of the bigs. Spears Jr. is playing 4-man, and battling against David Punch daily is accelerating his development to get ready to play 4-man in major college hoops. The problem with tobacco smoke is all the junk we put into the tobacco. People have actually used pure tobacco for all sorts of medicinal purposes. In fact, it is used for asthmatics to help open their airways.

Actually, there are some interesting studies that say otherwise and show that it may increase lung capacity in some users. I assume that you are unaware of pure tobacco being used to open up the air ways in asthma patients too. I do agree with your second point about brain health though. Alcohol is far worse for the brain and entire body. It is fairly common to give someone in rehab a small IV of alcohol to ween them off, or their body would stop functioning and they would die. I have seen first hand an alcoholic's body shut down and die a few months later in hospice. Alcohol is so much worse for the body than marijuana and it isn't even close. Plus, who would you rather deal with a person that is greening out or a belligerent drunk?

It is a discussion board. We should debate. I was referencing the poster attacks as opposed to a discussion. Differing opinions are great and what make the board interesting. It is the five pages of posters attacking each other and the name calling that gets old. I couldn't care less if someone is positive or negative in their opinions about the team. I love heated debates. I am with you on the UTSA game and was really disappointed in the play of Arch and the offense. But let down games happen. That is why Saban always talked about good press being rat poison. I thought they would have come out stronger. I wasn't giving them credit for issues Texas caused itself. The first two turnovers were flukes. The first fumble was caused by a foot and the second was like watching a Looney Toons cartoon. Given our history, you know there were a lot of guys thinking to themselves "here we go again." It is not easy to overcome that kind of mindset because it usually leads to other bad plays and the next thing you know, things have snowballed out of control. To this teams credit they battled and made just enough plays to keep themselves in it. Then Brown runs out of bounds short and Sark calls a terrible play that gets blown up. This happened just as it seemed we were turning things around. To stay in the game after those kinds of problems is very rare. This team has a lot of talent, but it still has a looooong way to go. I hope these guys get it figured out, because they have a chance to be incredibly good.
