  1. Past hour
  2. No mayo on corn dogs. That would be as bad as putting mayo on a Whataburger.
  3. Luv you guys just wanted to share some frustrations regarding announcers noting first ever texas womens WCWS championsiph. The AIAW site notes Texas women won the WCWS in 1979. If Aggies can count 3 championbships why cant we claim ours prior to title 9. See historical AIAW web site below AIAW.pdf
  4. She hasn't pitched that much this WCWS though. Definitely think they give Mac the start though to give Tech a different look to start.
  5. I'm thinking Mac starts and Kavan comes in to close, else she goes game 3 if necessary. Late in the WCWS, White said that Kavan lost some velocity when she was tired, so it makes a difference for her to get rest.
  6. Oh what a night ! All we heard from the commentators was Canady, Canady , Canady ! perhaps they will respect Kavan now that she’s beat Canady 4 straight times. My wife & I so enjoyed the win ! Can’t wait until tonight! Thank you OTF for the wonderful coverage of our Ladies Softball team . Mike White & our team representing our University well .
  7. Only German song to ever be number one in the US. Learned German when I was 19 in 1990.
  8. So who we got in the NBA finals? I’m taking the underdog Indiana Pacers. For some reason their depth and team chemistry seem really special. This and being a considerable underdog by all the pundits have me remembering my 1990 Cincinatti Reds against thise Oakland A’s. Rooting for Miles Turner as well.
  9. I'm only 25 but this makes me feel old. Still remember watching him rumble into the end zone against OU
  10. I saw a big debate on another site. You’re the coach of the Texas Longhorns. Do you start Teagan tonight or do you go like they did against Tennessee and start Mac with Teagan in relief?
  11. I'm going to turn him in. That's unacceptable. You seem like a decent guy. That abuse has got to stop.
  12. Today
  13. Bird from three point line could shoot 70 percent without being touched. Lakers literally held him nonstop. Of course, Celtics mauled Kareem and Worthy too. McHale literally close lined Rambis in the 1984 NBA Finals and all he got was a foul. Pansies today can't man up to that.
  14. Bird with the rules of today would be unstoppable. Let him shoot without being touched; let him move without being able to body him; he'd literally dominate. Current Euro pansies wouldn't be anything compared him. Against the Lakers in the 80s he couldn't match up. That's why NBA basketball sucks now.
  15. Agreed, Bird was a great passing lane anticipator/disruptor, and on my six men for one game team he would look like a great defender because he could freelance with the man defenders around him. Under current rules MJ would also be unstoppable, and West would benefit, as well [no hand checking]. Because four of my six were very good distributors no "true" PG would be necessary [the other two, MJ and Timmy, were certainly not black holes]. Instead, for one game they would each play 40 of 48 minutes and always have passing, shooting, rebounding, ball handling, and defense on the floor. There are other combinations one could put together that would tickle the imagination, but the total skills [and will] would be hard to match.
  16. Not in softball, but Bo Jackson hit a double when they tried to intentionally walk him in the pros. And there the catcher was standing outside the box. Doesn’t take away from Reese though, that was clutch and some next level thinking on the spot.
  17. Chris Whaley's son ... 2028 ATH CJ Whaley Offers: Arkansas, Mississippi State, TCU, Houston, etc.. http://www.hudl.com/v/2QW573
