  1. Past hour
  2. Gideon also was a defensive quality control dude for Muschamp in 2014 at Florida (his last year as Florida HC) and a graduate assistant for Muschamp in 2015 at Auburn (Boom's only year as Auburn DC).
  3. Today
  4. Given the fact that Georgia has been in the SEC Championship every season of the Kirby Smart era besides 2016 and 2020, and has played in every SEC Championship game since 2021 and won that game three out of the last four seasons, I think it’s safe to say Sark is expecting Georgia to be their opponent in Atlanta should Texas make it there. To be the man in this league, you have to beat the man, so any advantage (within the rules) you can get, you take it. Could also face them in the CFP.
  5. No, but I think that’s precisely what Sark is expecting. If we are going to win a conference championship and get all the way through the playoffs, chances are at some point we will run into Georgia.
  6. Good take. But also we don’t play Georgia this year unless we meet them in the sec championship
  7. Future Pac12 champ Texas State
  8. Somewhere fun to travel to if it’s Home-and-home. UNLV, San Diego St, Miami, or Northwestern.
  9. I may have missed it , but has muschamp found a nickels coach or is he leaving it up to Gideon ?
  10. Colorado, love the Rockies in September
  11. Nebraska. I went to our last game at Memorial stadium before they left for the big 10, it was awesome. Honorable mention would be Michigan.
  12. I completely ignored the analyst part. Thank you!
  13. He is an analyst not a coach. There’s usually an analyst for each position. Nansen is safe as the LB coach.
  14. If he specialized in linebackers...what does this mean for nancen?
  15. I really want to see someone stepup and take a job. Roberson, mack, terry, coleman, lockett, ect. Who is gonna say "this is my job" and own it?
  16. Is Texas still looking for a nickels coach?
  17. This is a good take. Sark seems locked in right now.
  18. Yesterday
  19. This is smart. Not only is it another piece that Muschamp is comfortable with, but it also will further enable Sark to self-scout. Georgia is one of the very few programs that Sark has not yet figured out how to beat. To me, this feels like another piece of the puzzle toward Sark figuring out how to beat Kirby.
  20. Texas Has Hired Garrett Cox to be New Defensive Analyst *** Garrett Cox is expected to be hired on staff at Texas, per 247Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Cox spent 2025 Georgia under Kirby Smart and alongside Will Muschamp as a defensive analyst. Previously, Cox had seen stints with TCU, Michigan, Tennessee, and Alabama where he worked closely with the linebacking unit. Given the hiring of Muschamp as the new defensive coordinator, Cox marks the first of a couple expected analyst hires under Muschamp in the defensive room. Muschamp already has worked with CB coach Mark Orphey in the past at South Carolina, and coached new defensive backs coach Blake Gideon while both were at Texas.
  21. Hopefully they can get creative with Seymour and have him in meetings with zoom. It's 2026 damn it! Make it happen!
  22. All very subjective, of course.
  23. @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton @Rod Babers Following up on your State of the Team podcast this afternoon, I was right there with you guys on grading the Transfer class as B++. I took it a step farther in getting a weighted average for returning team, net transfers, incoming frosh and coaching.
  24. Interested to see how leadership and communication evolves in the DB room without Michael Taaffe
  25. I am very excited to hear updates on tyler atkinson and jermaine bishop since so many on here believe bishop can make an impact as a true freshman on offense.
  26. Can’t wait to see Ty’Anthony Smith and Hero Kanu in 2026
