  1. Past hour
  2. Why does this name seem familiar?
  3. A bit off topic... Gerry, did you ever cover TJ Ducketts recruiting? I think he landed with Saban at MSU as a linebacker but quickly transitioned to running back. His brother Tico wasnt as big or talented but was solid for MSU at rb in the early 90's. Reminds me of Joe Paterno telling Eddie George he's not a running back, he's a linebacker leading him to go to Ohio State. Your article on Derrek Cooper where he was learning the game everywhere not knowing he was most prioritized as a running back until his junior year made me think of those prior recruitments. With Coopers focus solely on RB, his upside is unlimited.
  4. Louisville takes 1st set 25-23. Texas trailed 5-0 to start set. Too many attack errors to start set.
  5. Not surprising at all
  6. Maybe would have been different had he stuck with Texas. I think he was sold on Saban who left.
  7. Our first SEC game Florida The Texas Longhorns will come out like the Green Bay Packers. In the 1960’s . No worries. Be Happy!
  8. Other than basketball, and track I wasn't one to give girls/women sports much of a chance. Now when my neices coming into their own I'm at cheer camps, soon to be softball games, track meets, volleyball games, soccer, and basketball. 🤣 half of the time I don't know what's going on, I just cheer and clap when the parents who have the same colors on that I'm wearing do.
  9. Ok cool Hookem 🤘🏼
  10. With the big group in that class, nice
  11. New 2026 LB offer update Texas linebackers coach Johnny Nansen extended an offer to Michigan State verbal Braylon Hodge (Denver/Cherry Creek). OnTexasFootball exchanged messages with the 6-3, 215-pounder since the offer was made. Hodge tells OTF that he is working out visit details with Nansen and the staff right now. It’s likely that Hodge will visit Texas September 20 for the Sam Houston State game.
  12. He was only a redshirt freshman? That feels like a name from about 2014.
  13. I would say I'm shocked, but im not...
  14. Today
  15. Meh... Too much for my taste, but that team has sucked for a long time. Whatever it takes, I guess.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Two of our top three RBs are coming off injuries that have ended other football careers. I'm waiting for more game reps.
  18. Can remember back in 2001 when it was "Greg's holding back for OU".
  19. Sark is going to have some growing pains this year with such a young roster. I blame the media for using the Arch hype train to prop up expectations for this team where people are impatient that we don’t look like national championship contenders right away. I’m one to think Sark is really keeping it pretty vanilla with his offense until SEC play and letting the guys get reps in. Still need to see a week-to-week improvement making sure we are on the right track.
  20. The portal makes it likely we never see teams hitting on all cylinders early in seasons again
