And Georgia should really be ranked second which they will be after conference title games. So we will have beaten three teams ahead of us with losses to only No. 1 and No. 2. outside of Florida.

I just don’t understand how you look at Vandy next to us and ignore the head to head result…. They beat #22 Tennessee to end the year and we beat the #3 team if you are using recency views. Can’t tell me them beating Tenn was more impressive than us beating AnM, Oklahoma and Vandy lol but whatever. Nothing we can do now

Yep, Texas is being punished for the Florida loss because while they beat some teams above, no one has as bad a loss on their resume.

Anm, Vandy and blowU ahead of us even though we beat them while 2 of our losses are tot he number 1 and 3 team is wild….. it really sucks we slipped up versus Florida of all teams this year.

Can’t complain about resources, commitment, etc. DoBoer did a great job inheriting a talented veteran team, taking a flyer on a very talented but oft injured Penix, then keeping them around for another season. At Alabama, it’s all on him. It wouldn’t shock me if he parlayed these two years into a more lucrative and less demanding position.

Oh I definitely can. If you were talking about Kirby I would give you that. A loss is a loss, but a 6 and 7 point loss doesn't scream better coach to me in the head to head. More like a few balls didn't bounce your way. I also don't see that much of a difference in making it to the semifinals and making it to the finals and not winning. I also feel Nick Saban still has his hand in the cookie jar in Alabama, especially after the FSU loss.
