Well even the mods here agree that a better WR for likely gets us 1-2 more wins. Ohio State or Florida. -

Which one of our 3 losses do you think solely adding Coleman would help us win? We had opportunities vs Ohio State but Arch couldn’t hit receivers, Florida we got mauled in the trenches and burned on defense, Georgia was a blowout. -

Auburn mods are speculating that Eric Singleton could portal again. Wonder if we’ll take another shot at him? Would be cheaper than Coleman and bring a speedy WR to the roster -

Never said we have to get him just to prevent Aggy from getting him. I’d prefer not to play him at Aggy though. However, M&A transactions can happen for defensive purposes. Coleman is likely good enough for 1-2 more wins. If we had Coleman this year we likely have 1-2 more wins and are in the playoff. This is a big year for both Aggy and Sark. Elko is heading into year 3 with a very solid year 2. I think the team that has the better year will regain all momentum and Coleman could be the difference. (Yes Aggy is very likely to efff it up too regardless) And when I mention cutting players, that happens now… Baxter was among others. Coleman is 3x the WRs Parker and Mosley are. If you have to make room for Coleman, then you have to do what you can. I prefer to keep them I hope you understand. Our WRs are extremely mid and not championship level as a whole. Coleman is HIM. I do understand that we have other needs like OL, etc. We will make that work if we have to -
Did you see Earl play? In season 2 of his career, Earl was not just the best running back in the league- he was the best player in the NFL. He was unquestionably the MVP. Stats can't tell the story because the game changes over time. The best way to judge greatness is to compare a player to their peers.

Yep. The OV's in June will happen

Remembering David Ash’s breakout bowl game
Jeff Howe replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The old Jack Murphy Stadium was a dump, but San Diego seems like an ideal destination for a bowl game. It's a shame that San Diego will never host another Super Bowl, because some media folks I know who've attended the Super Bowl in San Diego raved about it as a host city. -

The portal sucks. I’m no Iowa state fan but they have 16 people left in their roster. Broken. This whole system is broken. -
The last time Texas and Michigan met in a bowl game
Jeff Howe replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Braylon Edwards looked like a man among boys against a very good Texas secondary. Steve Breaston broke O.J. Simpson's Rose Bowl record for all-purpose yards. As for Henne and Hart, it's no surprise that Michigan contended for a national title two years later when those guys were juniors. -

Why is Ohio state willing to spend the money but Georgia and Texas are not?

He posted that recruiting is going to continue until signing day, right after committing. Kid is a double Georgia legacy. This thing is not over.

It got up to 1.8 mill per year to win the commitment Texas wasn't a factor in the decision

Bijan Robinson is UNREAL
alrightalrightalright replied to Texas fan in Georgia's topic in On Texas Football Forum
He should be one of the faces of the league soon, if not next year. -
Completely different style of players, but Bijan is already averaging a higher YPA and season average rushing yards. Bijan has also doubled Earl's receiving yards. All of that while being completely underutilized his first season. None of this takes away from Earl because he was incredible. However, to say Bijan isn't as good as Earl is statistically not true so far. Bijan is a more complete RB.

Comparing Bijan and Earl is like comparing a perfectly balanced sword to a battering ram. Both effective when used properly, but very different in style. If Bijan stays healthy, he will set many records. He is special. -

These rules have yet to be enforced. Tech is obviously blatantly disregarding them with a "why don't you sue us and we'll see how that goes" posturing. The NCAA can't win the most basic enforcement cases (e.g. eligibility) and you think this stuff will hold up? there is absolutely no way. -
I highly doubt programs like Georgia and Texas are going to give up, he's class of 2027, long way to go in this one.

Yeah plenty of time

11 months before signing day doesn’t mean much.
