While I agree with the sentiments, unfortunately I will probably take this path as the only thing I watch is sports and this is more economical than paying $80> a month for YouTubeTV or any of the other streaming services.

Coming this fall, ESPN will have its own streaming app for $29.99. It will come with ESPN, ESPN 2, SEC Network, ESPN on ABC. In other words, should cover most (except the Ohio State game) games this upcoming season.
