  1. Past hour
  2. A&M will throw money at her as they need help badly, hopefully it's not enough to pull her. A 1-2 punch of Kavan and Azua would be stellar.
  3. Yet the coward that he is Yormark is not going to do anything because the short term payout I’m for viewers eyes is too great to pass up WWE style management.
  4. Madison Azua is on a visit to A&M today 😞 she is an absolute must.
  5. Taylor Tinsley, Kenzie Brown, Ruby Meylan, Maya Johnson, Robyn Herron, and Lyndsey Grein all graduated and will not be in college next year. I think the top arms will be Teagan Kavan (Texas), Jocelyn Brisk (Alabama), Kaitlyn Terry (Texas Tech), Keagan Rothrock (Florida), Alyssa Faircloth (Mississippi State), Sage Mardjetko (Tennessee), Erin Nuwer (Tennessee), Maddy Azua (in the portal, hopefully to Texas), and Vic Moten (Alabama) in my personal opinion.
  6. Texas likes where John Clark is going as a player. He's a 6-10'ish, 235-240-pound guy. Obiorah can be a rim protector, but is stricktly a defensive player at this point in his development. Texas could play small with Punch as a "college 5", but they will do that some regardless of foul trouble. I still expect the Horns to likely add a small role playing back up big as final roster piece.
  7. You’re muted @Blake Munroe 😜. Seriously, from an infield performance probably Lammons or sampleton. Overall, easily Shanahan.
  8. He has me blocked because he said Cam was a lock to Tech and when Cam committed to Texas I asked him if Cam was still a lock to Tech🤣
  9. "Great graphic producer Matthew" There @Joe Zura. Saved you the effort.
  10. We are 87 days away from Texas football, so today’s countdown looks at the best Longhorns to wear No. 87. Pete Lammons is probably the strongest name in the group. Lammons helped Texas win the 1963 national championship, then led the Longhorns in receptions in both 1964 and 1965. He finished his Texas career with 47 catches for 706 yards and 5 touchdowns, earned consensus All-Southwest Conference honors in 1965 and later won Super Bowl III with Joe Namath and the New York Jets. Lawrence Sampleton is absolutely in the conversation as well. Sampleton finished his Texas career with 57 catches for 1,071 yards and 7 touchdowns, was an All-SWC tight end in 1979 and became a second-round NFL Draft pick in 1982. Then there’s Kyle Shanahan, who makes the list more for the “wait, he wore No. 87 at Texas?” factor. His playing career in Austin was modest (14 catches for 127 yards) but he obviously went on to become one of the top offensive minds in football and the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. The current No. 87 for Texas is tight end Will Randle.
  11. I can actually see her going back to tech. More money and rules be damned. Watch them blow up another sport.
  12. There’s no tweet to find - Golan nuked it or kept it private. Roach saw it, the rest of us didn’t. Golan’s the only ‘insider’ whose scoops evaporate faster than Tech’s recruiting momentum....If Golan actually had real info, he wouldn’t hide it behind a paywall and a prayer....just ignore him.
  13. Maybe she just isn’t as popular as she thinks she is and that is showing up in a lack of endorsement deals.
  14. Today
  15. Would be really interested to see this in Texas.
  16. Word on the softball reddit is that Canady is holding out for more money and hasn't signed to play. The games started yesterday. If she thinks she's going to get Tech money, she's in for a rude awakening. This is laughable and why I say that's she's no where near the face of softball. She's in it for herself, talented yes, but not trying to grow the game. Most of the players in the league probably only make $45k ish and they're the best of the best. It's a similar situation to Caitlin Clark making only $76k as a rookie when her NIL and endorsement deals were in the millions. The smarter move would be to play and get endorsement deals.
  17. Apparently the baseball program doesn't get nearly enough support as the other major sports, which makes no sense considering they have the better history. Sucks
  18. It will be interesting to see if all the AD's, Presidents, coaches, etc. follow through on all the posturing that has gone on since the decision came down. Color me jaded, but in the social media world we now live in, everyone wants to throw out their statements, but little actually happens in reality. I would LOVE to see teams not schedule Tech and boycott them in all sports but that takes administrators with some guts and I am skeptical. It will be interesting to see this play out, but in the era of no rules, I feel it's going to be a lot of smoke and no fire.
  19. Just hate being outbid. Makes no sense
  20. Haha. There isn't nearly as much star power in this cycle as there was last year. Gotta get em while you can. Oh well though.
  21. This. I can easily coach a boy on hitting a baseball and be able to get real technical with it. I would be absolutely lost at coaching a girl in hitting a softball. Sure, I could do mechanics, getting a pretty swing, etc.... but softball is completely different and that coaching would only go so far.
