Hitting is atrocious when it counts….bad time of year to suck at the plate. We knock out the starter..then get shutdown by the second guy… Omaha not looking great without an easy path.

We faced two first round picks today. That type of pitching isn’t coming to the Austin Regional. And we have been strong offensively at home all year. I know you’ve convinced yourself for 2 months that this team isn’t winning in the postseason because we lost some games but let’s see what happens.

Not too shabby from Winter. A couple of flyouts and a strikeout help him erase a one-out walk and a wild pitch, which got a runner into scoring position.
