One of my fav parts of the year was David Ash resurfacing to defend Arch. Love that he is still passionate about Texas. He was amazing on OTF & 3rd and Longhorn too. Under appreciated Quarterback and Texas legend!

I expect Texas to be a player here.

People on the Florida On3 board are saying he’s going to Texas and Pete Nakos said that Florida was willing to pay whatever it took to keep him. Hopefully people are right on the Texas speculation.

I’ve never in my life seen somebody as fast as marquise Goodwin. Imagine him in sarks system.

Maybe spending time with the team at Disney world as a team, practicing, decent opponent, seeing other talented players, after getting screwed out of the playoffs will be great for chemistry and motivation and will contribute to a great season next year. Rather than losing at home 2 weeks ago and nothing like Aggie and OU did. Looks like they are making the best of it and cheezits rolled out the red carpet.

Yeah kinda hard to look at who North Texas plays…. Then think oh yeah if he did that against them then it will for sure translate to the SEC defenses he will see regularly. But then again, you never know. Sometimes guys just need the chance to prove themselves against better comp and it works out well for them.

If we start Arch last year, the defense was strong enough to carry him until he started seeing things better. He’d also be exponentially better this year and we probably win at OSU and Florida. The reason to start Arch was to begin his development since we knew QE’s ceiling. So two things predictably happened. We neither won a natty nor got a jump on this year. It’s silly to reduce it to trashing Quinn. Quinn’s play determined his ceiling, not chat fodder. He had consistently demonstrated his ceiling. Nothing more, nothing less.

I remember going to his first game at UT with my pops. We knew this dude was gonna be special. Sad he left us too soon but thanks for sharing this Jeff.

Who do we replace him with? There are 9 guys in the entire NFL with a better QBR. CJ had a better OL his first season in the league with Tunsil. But to answer your question, I do not believe he has regressed. He makes quicker decisions, gets rid of the ball quicker, takes less sacks, and is making better long throws. Is he perfect? No. Does he have room for improvement? Yes. Bottom line is I’d like to see what he can do with a better OL.

That was my first game away from DKR other than ou or the criminal institution in Waco. Helluva trip.

McDaniel's is running a lot of the same stuff Sark is. Quinn has looked really comfortable in these last 2 games. He's gained a lot of confidence in anticipating throws especially ones in tighter windows. I'm happy for him and hopes he keeps stacking good games.

You don’t think he has regressed since his first year? Maybe not, and I am a CJ fan, but he seems to be struggling to see the field at times. Both INT’s yesterday was bad but the one right before the half was as bad as it gets. I hope he takes the next step because we are going to pay him no matter what.

No worries, he can just introduce his brother to Nick Brooks.

I know it's not a possibility, but this kid is a freaking beast. I would love for them to kick the tires on him but not sure how realistic it is.
