  2. Yep, this is curious. She's not on the official roster and looks like was not eligible for the spring. No recent social media posts so you have to assume she's not in the plan for 2027. Drea Wilson and MaTaia Lawson were injured. (Wilson played for Kevin Shelton at Texas Glory. That team put kids at OU, Tech, Florida, LSU, Tennessee, Arkansas, Ole Miss, A&M, and Stanford. Incoming freshman Doty was also on that team.) Interesting that Mike White just said yesterday that "nobody's leaving Texas because they like what we're doing." Looks like we're stacked with young talent. Open spots at LF, RF, 2B, C. Probably Wells and Doty backing up Kavan. Maybe look in the portal for any P with WCWS experience if any pop up.
  3. Hey guys, how is parking around the Disch? I normally park in the garage but it’s sold out. Hook’em
  4. I’m not surprised. He’s ineligible for softball.
  5. Georgia with a strong comeback coming. Now 7–5 game in B5
  6. I'm enjoying watching Hail State put it on the Georgia Scumbags.
  7. Today
  8. (3) Seed down 6-0 in the 3rd (Georgia) (4) Seed down 1-0 in the series (Auburn) (5) Seed down 1-0 in the series (North Carolina) (6) Texas vs (11) Oregon (7) Alabama opens against St Johns today. (15) Seed vs OU today (Kansas) (16) Up 1-0 in the series (West Virginia) Lots of higher national seeds going down.
  9. Miss State is abusing Georgia in Athens at the moment. 6-0 bottom 2nd. Impressive.
  10. Both in the state of Tennessee too
  11. Kid is very gifted Would be interesting to have two true freshman QB starters in SEC (Jared Curtis)

  13. Is he any good at football? On the track, he is arms lengths faster than Dillon and Easton. However, there are a lot of football/ track kids, but way more track kids who play football and really don’t at a high level. Keep an eye on Arkansas who has good history with track and football. LSU with Lane might be one to watch as well. Brian didn’t do well with track/football kids playing time and a couple have left. They used to do really well at LSU, the best perhaps. Their charismatic assistant track coach (who is from Houston) won NCAA championships in both track and football and played a few years in the NFL as well as making the Olympic finals individually.
  14. That’s more national people thinking Lewis Goosby has to go take it, but Texas wants that bigger, longer lineup IMO, Mikey Lewis would be really good as scoring punch 6th man … he’s looked good in individual work thus far I was told. Natural scorer
  15. How does this relate to the standings shown during the softball games of men’s and women’s programs. Texas only shows up on the women’s but not near the top. how does that translate to being #1 overall?
  16. The Georgia Bulldogs football team was placed in a remedial English class. The professor asked the class, "Does anyone know what comes after a sentence?'.....All of the players raised their hands. "The appeal," they shouted with pride.
  17. Seems like many national media people think Lewis is likely to start over Goosby. Is that the feeling in the building or are national people just thinking Lewis is more experienced and therefore likely to start?
  18. First team meeting Sunday Workouts with staff begin Monday
  19. Tennessee is ut. Texas is UT. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  20. Wemby doesn't have to "bulk up" much. He can work on his footwork and offensive bag to take advantage of his height while trying to save his joints. He can play much more in the post offensively without simply "grinding" out position by moving so as to prevent leverage disadvantages.
  21. I agree they should take the ball out of Castle's hands, and if he doesn't like it, trade him. In terms of strategy for potentially getting back into this series, however, there's plenty they can do. The Spurs have the much better team. They're letting KAT dictate terms against Wemby. I'm not blaming Mitch. I think he's a great young coach.
  22. Edit: misread your timeline if Wemby bulks up, his feet will never hold up in my opinion. At this point he is the freakiest specimen with the highest ceiling of any player ever. He hasn’t made it yet. At this point he is just a three year player that could go on to be the GOAT or end up as Yao Ming.
  23. Castle is a huge part of it IMO. I've been on this watching him in person each of the last two years and them enough on the tube. Spurs are square peg, round hole'ing this thing right now. Castle has ball in hand more than any other player. And he's just not that player. He's not a team runner, let alone a "PG". He's just playing with the most gifted both ends of the floor player in the world. He's not instinctive (like play with 10 seconds to go last night was glaring as have been too many others), it's not natural, he's too slow to make the correct read too much, produces bad flow too much and turns it over too much at critical times. And it's going to be a problem for Spurs long term (against the very best) if the brass doesn't engage him in a role change, and just says this is who you actually are as a player and go do it and very good at it. If he's not willing, which I think will be the case, move him sooner rather than later. I think he's a solid player, overrated in the eyes of many, but I would consider trading him right now after the season and getting more wing shooting. Spurs need to hand ball to Harper starting next year, surround Wemby with best shooting possible and get a four man that fits the roster/rotation.
