  1. Past hour
  2. I call this crew the Gomer Pyle crew. When they do our games we average 11 flags a game. Around 6 with rest of SEC refs. More than eleven now after Saturday. Not sure why but they don't like us. SEC needs to fix their officiating including Mr McGoo in the replay booth. Need a rule like old SWC , schools could block a crew from doing their games if crews like this one or Kevin Marr scumbag. Think all college football would benefit with replay booth set up like ACC where you can see what is going on.
  3. 🎶 I'm looking over a four-leaf clover I overlooked before… One leaf is sunshine, the second is rain Third is the roses that grow in the lane No need explaining, the one remaining Is somebody I adore……. I'm looking over a four-leaf clover I overlooked before…………………….. 🎶
  4. SEC football needs full time refs.
  5. OU kicked our ass last year
  6. Great work, not really surprised. My sense is it's a bigger protection problem.
  7. I'm hoping an outlier, especially with Cojoe having to fill in now. Good info Justin!
  8. Hey, this is Justin, one of the interns. I wanted to look at how Texas’ pass protection has held up against Power 4 defenses, and the numbers stood out. Here’s a new graphic on Texas’ dropback sack rate against Ohio State, Tennessee, OU, Florida and Ole Miss. Across 153 true dropbacks in those games, Texas has been sacked 17 times for -119 yards. That 11.1% sack rate ranks 72nd of 76 FBS offenses with at least 75 true dropbacks against Power 4 defenses this season, and is only ahead of Clemson, Washington, Virginia and Auburn. Most of the damage came in two games. Texas allowed only just two sacks each against Ohio State, OU and Ole Miss, but they gave up six against Tennessee and five against Florida, each on only 25 dropbacks. Add in 9 turnovers (6 INT and 3 fumbles lost), which ranks 74th of 76, and the passing game has struggled under pressure. Were Tennessee and Florida outliers, or is this a bigger protection problem?
  9. It doesn't matter if fans overlook a team. We're not on the field lol! The team ain't overlooking no one.
  10. Today
  11. Agreed. 8-4 he will be forced to hire an OC or leave. Donors will not just let him run it back.
  12. bet on them ML for 10x and hedge your happiness then, big time.
  13. If Arch returns to Texas and has a last season like Quinn and KJ/Dia portal to Miami/Indiana/Oregon and ball out how does Sark look? I personally think Arch has nothing more to do at Texas after this season, no matter what we finish like. Both need new folks....
  14. "Brand?" What exactly does the letter writer think Texas Tech's brand is anyway?
  15. The pattern is this: Coach is told to fire his OC or DC....if that works the next year, he is safe. If it doesn't then he is gone. Remember when Mack had to fire Greg Davis? Then Charlie Strong had to fire both his DC and OC?
  16. As long as the team isn’t overlooking miss state. message boards overlooking a team isn’t hurting anyone lol. Heck we can’t do anything here but hope they go out and play to the best of their abilities.
  17. Tried telling everyone that ALL conferences have poor officials crews.
  18. It all comes back to AJ Milwee being a complete hack
  19. Mississippi State does not have a side of the football as formidable as Oklahoma's defense, nor do they have the quantity of trench/skill talent as Florida. If Texas spots them 14 points, i guess anything can happen. MSST and Lebby will likely deploy a similar gameplan as the 2024 game where they held onto the football for about 21 of the 30 minutes in the 1st half. Shortening the game and minimizing possessions is their best bet
  20. If Texas ends up 8-4 you think it’s a guarantee he stays?
  21. LOL. There won't be one of those.
