I do not think this is fixbable right now… I saw some thing that weren’t good in the opener, and they got worse

What’s the % chance this is Sarks last year, if he loses 2 more games? LSU, Ole miss, Miss St, at college station. Hell even Arkansas.. could all be an L.

Is arch fixable this season or will this be more of an offseason type of fix or change of scenary kind of thing? After watching max browne video I dont see how sark can start him this next game and keep his job if something major doesnt change.

You accept a bad foundation? Mechanics are the key to QB position. This is two QBs we see that the longer in the system their mechanics break down. That’s clearly a coaching issue, especially given both QBs upbringing and access to coaching prior to arrival at Texas.

Is the reason that this offense doesn’t feature crossing routes, slants, and short passes to RBs and TEs because Arch has poor touch on short passes and his timing is suspect?

Call stuff where he doesn’t have to see the whole field. The Florida QB generally had one read. Most of their plays involved misdirection and/or a quick pass. He didn’t really have to stand back there and pat the ball.

Is recruiting suffering because of this? Is Easton Royal the harbinger of things to come?

If we do have to hire an offensive coordinator. Who would be your top choice?

1-10 how unhappy are the donors right now? (10 being the unhappiest) And at what number would Del Conte force Sark to make some real changes to the offense? Or would he let him go down with the ship? At the rate the “top” of the sport is losing, 9-3 might not be an issue to make the playoffs if we turn it around. Seasons not over. This is purely about if it does continue in the same direction and I see no reason for it to not.

How would you get the offense going to consistently start moving the chains and eliminating the high percentage of three-and-outs currently happening? Who would get more or fewer snaps?

About the kickoffs yes… problems there with consistency The offense no … QB’s just are more comfortable in practice with the non-contact jersey on.

I wonder if those injuries impacted that. And I’ll accept worse mechanics if it means our QB finds open guys and we get in the playoffs.

Quinn’s mechanics got worse each year, similar to Arch. That’s why I don’t think it’s all on Arch. Sark while we do have open guys on some plays, the play calls themselves are issues a lot of times.

How many 1.000s played their senior year under 200 lbs with what everyone would consider mobility? How many missed multiple games each year they started? We’ll wait.

Why did sark go away from what was working in the first quarter against Florida. Once the script ran out. He quit calling things to the perimeter. How did he not see that was working?

Seems a lot of the plays someone is open. Arch is just not seeing them. Not sure how a different playcaller improves that. It doesn't
