How could it not be A&M, OU, and Arky? I’d be disappointed and upset if it isn’t. I wouldn’t mind it going to 4 permanent. LSU or Mizzou with LSU as preference.

This was supposedly proposed by the SEC three years ago Annual opponents Two years ago, back when nine games seemed a fait accompli, the SEC office came up with three potential annual opponents for each school. Historic rivalries received heavy consideration, as did a formula that analyzed every team’s record over the past decade and tried to create some parity. I love it! Every four years play the other 6 teams home and away, the way it should be. Did they announce who our three annual rivals are? OU and A&M for sure, # 3 is hopefully Mississippi State? Nope? Probably Arkansas ... And now the Big 10 weasels wanting four guaranteed playoff spots can't whinge about us not playing 9 in-conference games ...

If it’s three permanent opponents, I would be willing to bet one is Arkansas. If the SEC takes input from schools seriously, there’s a decent chance it’ll happen because Arkansas really wants that game.

I agree, but until it prevents Notre Dame from competing for national titles, there's no reason for them to join a conference. They will milk the independence as long as they can.

PK won’t stack the box but will disguise a lot. If he can stop the run with a 5 man box early then that will be a good sign for us. That’s why I like Taffe coming down to the nickel.

Days offenses are notoriously low scoring in the beginning of season… they win defensively in those big early games ..perhaps its the complexity of of schemes Pks stopping the run…thats his MO!
