  1. Past hour
  2. Haha...Sark is a great coach and fits the bill for what a Texas HC must be. Juggling donors, NIL, rabid fanbase, unreal expectations every year. Not many coaches are built for that. Winning at Texas is just not enough. You have to beat teams bad enough to leave no doubt, and you better not loose to ATM or Joklahoma. And why did you loose to Day and Smart again. Just to name a few. Im one of those guys, but sometomes i have to step back and look at the totality of all Sark has accomplished. Then I go sit in my corner shut up and color.
  3. What was he here for like 6 months. Everyone wants a piece of us in the monster energy big xii. Of course he said that because they can’t get any pub unless they use our name.
  4. Would be a shame for Texas to lose out on first championship and heisman in years because of scheduling disparities in college football and a selection committee that seems to be incapable of properly evaluating strength of schedule vs win/loss record. And a media complex that doesn’t hold them accountable to follow their own selection criteria
  5. While I agree, I also disagree. Cignetti is a great HC and he certainly can develop guys. Plus he seems to have significant backing if him staying put is any indication. But the homer in me is also saying eff all that and come to Texas. Although I will say in my current CFB 27 dynasty Sark got fired at Texas in year 2 (2027 season) and he got hired at Clemson. Guess who Texas hired? Cignetti lol. I'm playing as lowly Bowling Green trying to rebuild them.
  6. I know he has to hype his guys up but that's a weird shot to take at Texas lol.
  7. Yes, it was an incredibly glib thing to say. He’s clearly trying to hype up his own mediocre team but couldn’t credibly claim that his LT is better than Banks.
  8. Looking pre Mendoza Rourke @ IU 11-2 (2024) Jordon McCloud JMU 11-1 (2023) Todd Centio JMU 8-3 (2022) Cole Johnson JMU 12-2 (2021) 14-2 (2019) QB Coach and Recruiting Coord @ NCST Coached and developed a young man named Philip Rivers. No 4 overall pick. Dude wins, doesn't seem to matter a whole lot who the QB is. Solid system...and IMHO one of the top 2 or 3 to coach since 2000. It took him awhile to break through and climb the ladder, but you have to give credit where credit is due.
  9. Yes but we did have Kelvin Banks, what a dumbass thing to claim imho. I will be watching this so called dominant offensive line hopefully get owned in the big 12 this year would love to see them face our defensive line.
  10. Yeah I’m not too worried about the later games as I’d get there early. But the 11 am kick offs will be hard
  11. You have to get there pretty early, no matter game time as tailgaters start setting up by 7am. At least that’s how it used to be. I haven’t had to set one up in quite a few years. Got to the age where I just got to attend finally 😂
  12. As unhelpful as that is, I’m not ubering from San Antonio lol

  15. Milwee upstairs was a legit turning point. Sark gets the sideline feel, Milwee gives him the clean overhead picture, and suddenly the offense stopped tripping over itself. For this staff and this QB, that setup just works.....thanks for posting Jeff.
  16. When he announced on TV with sunglasses on, I figured he would be a problem.
  17. @Joe Zura has been hiding in plain sight this whole time!
  18. Yup...I commented almost the exact same thing before seeing your post.
  19. He was recruited as a rb at usc but they switched him to wr his sophomore year which might be part of why he left but it let's you know that catching the ball and running good routes is right up his alley.
  20. He was originally committed to Oklahoma as a RB with Lincoln Riley then followed him to USC before ever enrolling at OU. Played RB as a freshman then Riley switched him to WR his second year at usc and he redshirted and transferred out to play RB. The versatility from his time as WR will definitely pay off!
  21. Most play-callers prefer one or the other. I've heard some guys say they have to be in the booth to separate themselves from the emotion of the game and/or to get the full-field view. I've heard other coaches say they need to be on the sideline because feeling everything that close to the action helps them get into a better flow. Different strokes for different folks, at the end of the day.
  22. Think I’d be able to just show up on game day and find parking ? Or would you think I’d have to get a parking pass prior?
