  1. Past hour
  2. Okay I am assuming we are talking four. KD, TJ (Back to back players of the year), DJ and LA. Apologies to PJ, LaSalle, Mays, Mihm, and Turner I am amazed Turner is still not pissed at Barnes for only playing 16 minutes in his last game.
  3. Met Kris Clack at the Summer League at UMass Boston back in the day. He had a shootout with spurs prospect Derrick Dial. Pretty cool but Red Auerbach sat two rows in front of me during that game.
  4. We live down on the coast and dogs that have anxiety getting on boats etc do well with pet CBD. Check out their site they may have something for pets.
  5. Oh God. It’s Jordan, even if all of them played for Texas.
  6. Goosby was light when he got here. Turntine doesn’t have to start as a freshman. He will put on necessary mass to be a beast.
  7. Here’s the list starting from the Tom Penders era: Travis Mays Lance Blanks Joey Wright Terrance Rencher Reggie Freeman Kris Clack Chris Mihm TJ Ford PJ Tucker Lamarcus Aldridge Kevin Durant DJ Augustin Tristan Thompson
  8. TJ Ford, Kevin Durant Lasalle Thompson, PJ Tucker, LaMarcus Aldridge DJ Augustin, Lance Blanks, Jarrett Allen, Mile Turner, Travis Mays, Johnnie Moore
  9. Great post. I'd say at Texas but a pro Mt Rushmore is very interesting also. Tre Johnson professionally will far surpass the college legacy he left. DJ Augustin is severely underrated. Cory Joseph - Chris Mihm - Tristan Thompson many first round picks in the past who provided much less value to winning than PJ Tucker.
  10. Johnny Moore, Jim Krivacs, Lasalle Thompson, Lance Blanks and Miles Turner are 2nd Team. Tristan Thompson, DJ Augustine, Terrence Rencher, James Thomas and BJ Tyler round out third team.
  11. The key recruiter for the Horns in this recruitment hadnt had contact for days. He was the main point of contact until about 10 days ago. BP-W is a solid prospect. OTF has him as a 4-star+ prospect. One college coach compared him to a future 275-pound version of Barryn Sorrell if he maximizes… if that comes to pass, very good player
  12. Travis Mays should be in there somewhere with KD, TJ, LA and PJ.
  13. Today
  14. That’s my main concern as well.
  15. With these guys signing revenue sharing agreements (not waiting on the old NLI), I think a lot of these early commitments will stick.
  16. For Texas Kevin Durant TJ Ford Terrence Rencher Slater Martin
  17. NBA Bird and Magic… literally changed the game. Jordan was an amplifier to that change. Abdul-Jabbar for longevity, social activism. In short, he was a cultural icon. People forget how dominant he was… 6 MVP’s… all-time scorer.
  18. Do you recall a kid picking Texas who greatly disrespected another school in the process? Or could have done it “better”? Didn’t think so.
  19. Is it purely at Texas? Or NBA career factors in? KD TJ The obvious … Wooden & Naismith Awards winners DJ Augustin and LaMarcus Aldridge in my years. LaSalle Thompson is likely a pick for some Texas fans … Johnnie Moore could be too You have guys that are better NBA players that college players - Myles Turner, Jarrett Allen PJ Tucker will always be underrated as a college player at Texas
  20. Richardson is super twitched up athlete for those that haven’t seen him … his game is ascending big time right now.
  21. For those wondering … my OnTexasBasketball in-state rankings for 2027 post TABC Marcus Spears Jr. has the highest NBA upside down the line. Dawson Battie is what I call a “Final Four” player. Al Horford’lite Reese Alston visited Overtime Elite last week. Second Baptist fighting to keep him Im going to expand the state rankings to top 20 after July … a terrific class in-state right now, prior to guys leaving for national programs over time. Dynamic Prep should keep three of the best in state, Richardson will finish HS at Friendswood … so hopefully the state doesn’t lose as many in this cycle
  22. I know Chase Richardson very well being a former Friendswood High player that is very close to the program. Hes ascending quickly as a player/PG right now. Won’t surprise me if he ends up being a top 50-60 player in the class. There are 25’ish high-majors watching him in Rock Hill next week. A lot of head coaches I’ve watched Avery Huston multiple times since the spring. Love where he is headed as a player. He should be a top 100 prospect (maybe top 75 or higher) in time.
  23. One of the few times I disagree with you. Although it's not a big deal it's odd behavior by the kid. We'll see how he does in that system with their average QBs. Not a kid I'd recruit through the whistle or accept in the portal for that move. Alright I'll smoke grass.
  24. Agreed but glad there was a thread about it. I think pretty much every longhorns fan will root for the finleys even at notre Dame. Just odd to toss a Texas hat to the ground. It's water under the bridge but would have been much more fitting had he tossed an A and M hat.
  25. These dudes get caught up in the moment. No big deal.
  26. What is your Mount Rushmore for Texas College Basketball? As a Celtic fan I'm cancelling out Joe Z saying Payton Pritchard with Avery Bradley. Longhorn Nation, who are your top picks in hoops? TJ Ford and Kevin Durant should be shoe ins...
  27. If that's how he feels... cool. If Pop's gon let him get down like that, cool. My Horns saw that. The recruiting class saw that. Jalen and James Lott saw it, too. They also watched Ojo play games, too. At the end of the day... handle your business and hope they land on the schedule in the playoffs. Settle it on the field and make him regret it. Period. As for Pop's.... he's just being a dad... but he gets the smallest steak at the alumni gatherings, no cap!🤘🏿
