  1. Past hour
  2. The parallels to the Kade Phillips recruitment from a year ago are hard to ignore. Seems like one that goes our way come December.
  3. Nah the issue definitely is north shore and it’s not even an emotional response to say that. It’s actually backed by the proof in the pudding that that school produces bust at an extremely high rate given the amount of talent they put out.
  4. Everyone needs to chill with emotional responses. The issue Georgia is recruiting him as a CB and Texas is recruiting him as a Safety. This is what happened last year in the recruiting of Kade Phillips. Texas which to recruiting him as CB and signed with Texas. The issue isn’t North Shore.
  5. Exactly right
  6. Makes me cautiously optimistic about Benjamin.
  7. Dropped a top four without Texas. Schools included were Houston, Baylor, Ole Miss and Arizona. This, obviously, was the expectation given the official visit scheduled for last weekend did not occur. Given the board at the moment, the only safeties who officially visited Texas in the month of June include North Shore DB Chace Calicut and DB Davon Benjamin out of Westlake Village (Calif.).
  8. If you go to Stanford you can get into Columbia Medical School, Harvard Medical School, Vandy, Carnegie-Mellon etc a lot easier than going to UT, Michigan or A&M if that is what your goal is. Stanford is one of the best academic institutions in the world. Michigan and UT are public Ivy’s. If the kid values a long term academic oriented career over football, he will probably go to Stanford. If he is unsure he will make it to the NFL but thinks he ma have a shot he may end up going to UT or Michigan. If he doesn’t care about academics and wants a bag, he may choose Aggy, but he didn’t so I tend to believe he cares about long term academic prestige. Or his family does.
  9. Good question IMO. Texas keeps its best players historically. More than most other places, including Alabama and Georgia. Similar to Ohio State IMO.
  10. But I don't think he would start at Texas.
  11. There is absolutely no way that I would recommend anyone who is from Texas, to go to medical school in California. Here's a few reasons why: To begin with, the cost of the out of state medical education would be double to triple, compared to Texas. Once football is over, you are on your own financially. Then, you are pretty much stuck there, because your residency would most likely be in California. California has lower average physician salaries, especially when adjusted for their higher cost of living, and the ridiculous higher taxes that you would pay. Then you will find out that your malpractice premiums and payouts will significantly impact your income, because your insurance cost will be a lot higher. Cali has a high percentage of uninsured residents, which will negatively impact your medical environment, which has led to higher burnout rates. California has become a third world 💩 🕳️. Type the following into Google: Why is California so bad to practice medicine?
  12. No body goes to med school while playing D1 football. You get a prestigious undergrad degree to get into a better med school. Stanford UT and Michigan are all prestigious. A&M is good, but not on the same level.
  13. Either Michigan or Texas is about to be stuffed in a locker for some high level recruits
  14. Because they have talented players. And every player is different.
  15. He doesn’t want to be a brain surgeon. An interview a few months ago debunked that. That would be a crazy path that only one freak of nature has ever done. One Myron Rolle.
  16. Myron rolle type kid love me an academic weapon
  17. He told me in the spring brain surgeon might not be the path but something in the world of medicine will be. That's a lot of school to juggle while playing high-level football.
  18. I’m a fan too hoss 😉
  19. Today
  20. Not in football, and ACC travel should be a deal breaker. Mike Cronin is still recovering from his jetlag! Hopefully someone hits home Dell Medical vs a legacy med school. P.s. THI right now in Austin:92, Ann Arbor 91, The Bubble 72. But take a peek Nov-Feb!
  21. A South Carolina cb for Matthews made me dig deep on his recruitment the best I could and I saw A-LOT of confidence on the SC side with some people from our side not having the confidence we had earlier on. Ofc take it for what you will but thought it was interesting

  22. and to think my aggy buddy sent me screenshots of aggy reporters saying it was gonna be them or Michigan🤣
  23. Not gonna lie I thought the same. Was expecting to see a note saying they left the sec
  24. Stanford is a excellent school period.
  25. The ASU safety from Texas is a starter there.
  26. Stanford has an excellent medical school. They are the sleeper for Turntine.
