We are Groundhog Day, year 6, with regression. At best, we bandaid the rest of a season after an unexpectedly or tough loss. Eerily similar to MBTexasFootball. Lots of talent but can’t deploy it. You don’t fix things that you completely miss in the offseason during the actual season. We wasted spring, summer, fall, and the bye. until flood and banks and are gone, especially flood, we will get the same results. It’s not even about flood’s under perfect thus point. It would signal sark is actually all gas, no brakes by making a truly personally difficult decision. Pk wasn’t in the inner circle. No one that is has been touched. Has to change first.

There's actually some really good lacrosse players in Texas. Ethan Burke was one before he went the football route.

Coming to this late... But a QB isn't just supposed to do "what he's asked to do". He's supposed to have enough football IQ, savvy and instincts as a veteran QB to be able to call things in live action on his own. Colt did it. Vince did it. Sam & Quinn did it. Arch hasn't shown that ability at all. It's disturbing to think about and frustrating to observe.

I think they’ll be somewhat successful getting up to speed quickly. As the parent of a former D1 player, I can attest most players at elite academic schools will stay if only to get their degree. They’re also way better students than a P4 or G6 football player. Also, the professional payoff is still virtually non existent. This is more about making the school even more relevant in the Northeast, prime lacrosse recruiting territory. That said if Texas established men’s and women’s programs, they’d clean up.

Serious question is it a arch problem or a scheme problem

He doesn’t like to throw in the middle and he’s not particularly good at it. Even more striking though is how terrible the behind the LOS to the left passing game is. Less than 2.5 yards per attempt is criminal. I assume that’s a function of the well documented WR blocking problems but yeesh, changes need to be made there.

I’m too lazy to do this, but I would love to see charting for the first and second down plays. Much like last season, it feels like this team lives behind the chains. It’s tough to be successful when you start in a hole.

Honestly the things Arch is deficient in are probably not fixable. Poor pocket awareness, slow processing etc. This is who he is. We can win some games but Sadly we are not winning a Natty with Arch at QB.

Most thought we’d stomp them last year as well. That didn’t turn out so well for us.

Only time their on the same page is if there behind in the 4th quarter .

I see a big day for numbers 4 and 5! INTs for Jelani and Bo, touchdowns for Bishop and Cooper!
