  1. Past hour
  2. Not for sure. He got that stat from another tweet from someone else but I can't find the origianl one I saw.
  3. How many final two inning sets did Kavan pitch in CWS games? Or is this a two season total, all games?
  4. You make an important point, would the Mt. Rushmore be specifically what they did at Texas, or what they did for their entire career? Because that greatly would affect rankings for some.
  5. I think most of the softball news in on Reddit, but I'm old and it's difficult for me to navigate that.
  6. So it’s 3 Duvernay autos (1 Ravens jersey), 1 Collin Johnson auto, 1 Brandon Jones auto, and then several other rookies of each in a Texas jersey. Would prefer to sell this all together to a Texas fan.
  7. Kavan is getting all the accolades and rightfully so, but I also have to give props to Citlaly Gutierrez. I myself have been critical of her and didn't think she was a legit #2, but against Tennessee and Tech at the WCWS, she was lights out and gave the team a chance to win and that's all you can ask. And she did it with a smile on her face. Because of her outings, Kavan was able to get the needed rest to do what she does best.
  8. You seem to have a pretty good grasp on the market and options available? Softball portal news is hard to find on Twitter, so if you know could you give us some ideas of who you expect us to be in on?
  9. Texas should get active pretty soon now that the season is done.
  10. I haven't heard anything that's extraordinary, she gets credit for being the highest paid player at the time. Jordy Bahl Frahm likely took less money to go home to Nebraska and build that program (her home state) into a contender. To me that's more worthy. Karlyn Pickens was interviewed and said she was offered a ton more money (likely by Tech) but stayed at Tennessee because it means something to try to finish what you started. Reese Atwood was contacted by Tech last year during the WCWS and said no thanks I'm staying at Texas. Teagan Kavan has interviewers pull in who she believes should be recognized that usually do not get the spotlight (Altemeier). Those types of actions have more impact imo.
  11. Today
  12. where ya going Tech? https://x.com/AllKindsWeather/status/2062724399975850464/video/1?s=46
  13. She brought attention and viewers to women’s softball. All time tv rates for women’s softball. She a lot for women’s sports.
  14. Curious to what all you got.
  15. She is the most famous, but turned pro early and didn’t have the hardware that the others did. Guidry had: 12 NCAA championships — the most by any Texas woman and three more than any other woman in NCAA history 6 NCAA indoor individual titles, still the most ever by a woman 17 Southwest Conference titles and 23 All‑America honors I get the richards-Ross love. If you add in Olympics she now is clearly Mount Rushmore for overall athletes, possibly even including male.
  16. To be fair, I would have walked Stewart every time she came to the plate.
  17. Another eejit with an unhealthy Texas obsession. It’s always nice to see yormark looking dejected.
  18. Definitely is cringe if you are a Longhorn fan. I get it though. People want a story. Ho him, Texas wins another championship doesn’t have the same drama as historically mediocre program rises above it all and beats the big dog. Not any different than people wanting Indiana to beat OSU in football last year. It’s a cross I think we all willingly will bear to be a perennial power in most of the sports we participate! Don’t expect it to change as long as we are the team to beat
  19. I've been researching this best ever basketball player in the playoffs at 22 stuff. Seems like Wemby is fifth according to a conglomerate AI search. Kobe Bryant (2001 Lakers): One of the greatest postseason runs ever while winning his second consecutive title. Kobe averaged 29.4 PPG, 7.3 RPG, and 6.1 APG, leading the Lakers in scoring through the Western Conference gauntlet (including 33.3 PPG against the Spurs) as the team went an historic 15-1 to win the title. Kobe was the team's closer and best defender, famously outdueling Allen Iverson in the Finals. Magic Johnson (1982 Lakers): Won his second NBA Championship and Finals MVP at age 22. He averaged 17.4 PPG, 11.3 RPG, and 9.3 APG over 14 games. While legendary, he shared alpha duties on a stacked roster featuring prime Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Michael Jordan (1986 Bulls): Played only 3 games but put on the most individually dominant scoring display in playoff history. Facing the legendary 1986 Boston Celtics, Jordan averaged an absurd 43.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 5.7 APG, including his famous 63-point game at Boston Garden. However, the Bulls were swept in the first round. LeBron James (2007 Cavaliers): Completely carried an underwhelming Cleveland roster all the way to the NBA Finals. He averaged 25.1 PPG, 8.1 RPG, and 8.0 APG over 20 games, highlighted by his legendary Game 5 against Detroit where he scored 29 of the Cavs' final 30 points. Cleveland was ultimately swept by the Spurs in the Finals. Victor Wembanyama (2026 Spurs): Reached the NBA Finals. Wembanyama averaged 22.1 PPG, 12.3 RPG, and a staggering 4.0 BPG, pacing the entire postseason in blocks and player efficiency.
