For those unaware here is the New soccer coach entering her first year hailing from UCLA where she won a National Championship.

Since we are almost to August that means Texas athletics is on the horizon. First sport up is Soccer! And with the hiring of a New Coach (National Champion at UCLA) Coach Bates. schedule has already been released and Texas has infused a bunch of new transfers into the program. Expectations are to compete in the SEC and win some tournament games.

This is… exactly my point? I’m not complaining or angry. Just saying we’ve been given enough information to deduce where this thing sits for days/weeks now. Saying we expect him to commit to Indiana the morning of his announcement just felt unnecessary just like saying you expect X guy to commit to Texas the day of. OTF used to be really great about giving just enough info to let you know what they think about recruitments as they progressed. It was tactful and a breath of fresh air. Last few recruitments have been feeling different with either posts like these or outright “good news coming today” on the YouTube channel, etc. just my opinion, not attacking anyone like many in this thread seem to think 🙂

For weeks they have been saying that this was trending Indiana but it isn’t over until it is over.

Legacy the School of Sports Sciences is a new school that opened only a few years ago. They're not apart of UIL or TAPPS so they play an outlaw schedule with a bunch of random teams that's a mix of UIL, TAPPS, and out of state schools. To my knowledge they do not have a postseason since they're not part of a league. This is the same school 2026 5-star QB Keisean Henderson went to. They also sent an OL and WR to A&M. The WR is Reggie Brown's son, Mike Brown. Michael Bishop, the former K-State QB and older cousin of Jermaine Bishop, was the Titans' HC for the last few years before he left to take the assistant QBs coach job at Houston right around the time Keisean enrolled. Their new HC is former A&M DB Toney Hurd, their DC is former Mississippi State DB Marcus Washington, their OC is Brandon Robinson, a long time coach/trainer in the Galveston county area that worked with guys like Jonah Williams and Devin Sanchez as young kids all the way through HS. And they have the Foreman twins as WRs and RBs coach. They also have a basketball team with a few D1 prospects and they play a national schedule as well. It seems like they're trying to turn it into an IMG type of school but they don't have boarding and their facilities are night and day since IMG is basically a P4 college. I don't know any of the players on their current football roster so I'm not sure how much talent they have, but this is their schedule:
