Mascoe says Texas was the only school he visited in the portal

Texas was Mascoe's only visit.

Mascoe thought Texas would be more country.

Mascoe says his biggest goal has been building with his teammates and creating a bond. Says they have done a good job of that by eating food outside the facility.

Coach Elliott let's his assistants primarily handle the team, especially during the match. He's more CEO ish. The current group of assistants clearly are not at the level of Sullivan (hence he got the USA coaching gig). I hate to say it because he recruits so well and has made Texas the powerhouse that it is, but it's getting close to time for him to ride into the sunset for the next great coach a la Cook at Nebraska.

Let's get him that same hype DGG has been getting. Hopefully he has some games on TV

I don’t think Tech actually cared that he had a gambling problem considering they thought he could just go to rehab for a couple weeks and everything would go back to normal. It was all a PR stunt to make it seem like they wanted to help him.

Every time they bring up the "rehab" talking point, it's extremely offensive. Outlandish. Apparently their "rehab" included him participating in the very activities he was addicted to betting on. (Not to mention him being a negative influence on others) It's like taking a recovering alcoholic to Spring Break Miami and expecting them not to "relapse". Or having a drug addict hang out with Snoop Dogg and Ozzy Osbourne. Ironically, the NFL and NCAA are the only ones actually looking out for Sorsby by banning him. Joey McGuire and Cody Campbell are so tone deaf, they'd probably take Sorsby to Las Vegas for a weekend and then tell everyone he's "cured" because he didn't place 1 bet the entire time. 🙄

Yep, Sorsby got caught gambling by a gambling site and Tech tried using his addiction to their benefit.
