Because a lateral travels parallel or backward, it is a backward pass, and NCAA Rule 9-1-9 (Roughing the Passer) explicitly does not apply. With a non call, we intercept the pass and win the game.

I’m so tired of the Sark offensive guru label. He can draw plays with the best of them, but he can’t match them with the players he has. How many dreadful quarters of offense do we have to witness before he swallows his pride? This roster has too much talent. If we miss the CFP with God’s gift to Earth, “A Manning,” twice..CDC needs to force Sark’s hand. As someone that saw that Kansas OT loss and this OU loss in person…I am tired, boss.

Don't get me wrong, PK had his issues. But he pretty much carried Sark during those two semi final runs. He had some bad defensive play last year but he could hardly be called the biggest issue. We hire an arguably even better DC and somehow the issues are even worse. Which tells me Sark wasn't babysitting anything, he's just not as good as he thinks he is. I don't expect it matters what CDC says, Sark is adamant that his O is great and that he can both be the HC and OC. He won't change his mind on that.

Arch has to learn he doesn’t have to go win the games with this defense, but he can’t lose them (a pick 6 and interception on 2nd down to close out a game). That’s on him. He needs to manage the game not go be the hero. Just bad special teams and offensive inconsistency again today.

I love Sark. He brought us back to relevance. Nothing would give all of us more joy than him being rewarded for that, but he really is his own worst enemy. Were not blind, we can see the product on the field. The offensive line has been a massive issue for years now. Outside of LT it hasn't been good. Is Flood a good oline coach? Idk maybe, but definitely not in Sarks scheme and system. Banks has put a pretty decent run of te's on the field, but his special teams has gone down hill year after year. Milwee seems to be employed simply because of blackmail. There's no other logical explanation after watching Quinn and Arch regress. Thats why you shouldn't hire "friends" unless you dont have a problem being the prick when its needed. Got rid of PK for Will. Which I think was the right call, But constantly run it back with underperforming coaches on YOUR side of the ball is the literal definition of insanity. Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

Tough game OU wanted it more in the second half. Arch looked decent outside the two interceptions, he needs to take the sack at times the defense gifted the one touchdown they gave up. The defense line was pushed around much of the second half, couldn’t get the stop when we needed it the offensive line was pretty bad the third quarter special teams = 💩 im not a negative person and dont get the pitch fork mentality, the hardest part of being a longhorn fan is all the Dallas cowboys fans lol 🤘🏻

Just because Sark is better than Herman, doesn't make him the answer to win a natty. Still got half a season to go and Im hoping for the best, but sark might be on the same trajectory as Herman. Hermans arrogance is what got him canned and Sark might be on the same path. I don't know who would be a better hire but we might need to find out.

This! Sark got rid of PK when the defense wasn't the issue. He's had every reason to send Banks and Flood packing, yet here we are...same ole story. Time for CDC and Sark to have some serious discussions.
