We've been over this before. Sark doesn't like CJ because of numerous ill-timed if not simply click bate type questions. If you think that's on Sark, I'd suggest you're off.

The ohio state first half debacle made me come to the harsh realization that sark may have reached his ceiling here with the 2023 and 2024 seasons.

We haven't been good on special team in a while. When was the last time we blocked a punt? We don't do that very often. our return game has been mediocre outside of some plays by Niblett last year. This year he's been a non-factor. Punting was better last year and this year it's hit or miss. The K is pretty decent, he had the leg for the 53 yard FG attempt just veered right. But that's such a bad answer, imo.

I think it needs to be simplified. You have had your grocery pickings if your Steve sarkisian. Arch made chicken salad/soup etc out of chicken chet last year. The kid can make every throw. When every player is declining in draft projection and you pull guys when their hot, are you a genius? I love this team. CJ asked a genuinely honest question today and sark tried to belittle it. Sark preaches he's this great guy and leader I don't see it. He's an egotistical asshole and he will only right the ship if held to account. 🤘

Here's another more specific question. The top 20 p4 offenses in points per drive score at least 3 points. Texas is under 2.4 pts/drive, which is #42 and not in the the top 10 of any of the 4 power conferences. How do we find an extra .5 pts/drive, or an extra 2 drives per game, to have championship caliber offense if you agree that this metric matters? Source: OFEI

Well we better hope history is actually not an indicator for the future. Scary that we’re getting to the point that Sark blatantly lies in pressers now. Scared Sark has peaked at Texas and this is going to be a grueling downhill slope. Confident this team will win games, but not the big one. Afraid Sark never will. We say “he won’t win a championship until he hires an OC” well, he’s never going to.

I think Sark has bought into the mantra of playing your best football at the end of the season. That doesn’t bode well for trying to put on your best most button up performances at the beginning of the season. Hopefully it’s a long season. I’m disappointed that we let OU and Brent Venebles breathe. No I’m hoping that Kentucky as 6.5 points dogs on the road can pull off the upset.

I'll give you both a lot of credit. I am to the point where the drag of a monotonous offense and lackluster special teams has taken a toll on the belief I had with this team to begin the season. Again, if it ever clicks, the talent will compete with anyone. But that's the question – will it ever click?

This is fair, because if he did, I'd ask: since we passed on Keelon Russell, then we must have other great options in our QB room to try, right?

The defense will win a lot of games. It's as good as any in the country. If the offense and special teams are even just consistently average, this team still has a lot of potential. Let's see how this weekend goes.

@CJ Vogel following up on Sark deflecting your good questions, maybe ask something like this: what stats are you most focused on improving, statistically, on offense - as specific examples, out of 138 D1 teams here is how Joel Klatt framed our offense this week:

Man…I find myself feeling just as aghast as Brooks. Would love to be a fly on the wall during the offensive coach film watch. Arch either plays like a God or like he’s auditioning for the Little Giants. And it’s usually within the same drive. At least in the show..the good guys win. The same horrible mechanics seen against OSU last year to start the season rear their ugly head too too often. I think when Sark references the positives at practice not translating to the game is code for “Arch is fuggin’ it all up.”
