Full post from the mod: "Royal There has been buzz all over the place today about a potential big development brewing with LSU recruiting Obviously, there is speculation as to who it could be - or what it could involve. I will pass along this: today brought a lot of back-and-forth today between the teams and 5-start Easton Royal’s camp - and not just Easton, but ranging from mom to his representation. Royal is set to visit Texas this weekend, which is the school he’s been committed to since November. Now, as for the buzz today. LSU has been working really hard behind the scenes to get him to not visit Texas and get into the spot they are saving for him in LSU’s class. It’s not the first time LSU has done this, but this time there was some real traction gained to the point where multiple sources (on multiple sides of his recruitment) confirmed a call to Texas was made and a conversation had about where things stood and whether or not he would make the the upcoming visit. After talks between a lot of different parties involved, things shifted to the point where Royal and his mother agreed that he should see it through and make the Austin visit. With how long he’s been committed, they felt it is the right thing to do by still making the official visit given it’s the very last official visit he will make before he finalizes a decision. I do know that even as of this afternoon as I typed this, LSU was on the phone still working to see if they can get things shut down and him flipped. Texas is obviously doing a lot of work that’s now been put into overdrive to ensure they can still get the visit to happen this weekend. Sam has led the way in this recruitment as, to my knowledge, the only person out there getting quotes from Easton Royal each week. From just speaking with Sam, the word we have from trusted sources is that as of 5 PM on Wednesday, the Royal family is telling Texas they still plan to visit this weekend. Of course, it’s only Wednesday. There is still time for that decision to change… And we’ve already heard rumblings of changes potentially happening that led to this post, so LSU isn’t going to slow down that push. Toss in Florida, and obviously Royal is being pulled in a lot of directions. All that being said, I still feel that when December gets here, he’s a Tiger. Sam and myself will keep y’all informed each step of the way, but that’s the latest from behind the scenes on a wild Wednesday….."

LSU Boards going crazy about Royal flipping and even cancelling Texas Visit. Last look the visit may still happen according to their Mod , as his Mom feels he should visit. That is from the story I read . FWIW as who really knows. LSU was never gonna go quietly, but this smoke started last night. Hopefully just bluster but these days who knows. But definitely trust sources here and elsewhere . Just the game these days !

Hat tip to Georgia’s coaches for their game plan against Texas. Pound the strike zone on first pitch until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike. Throw it right over the middle of the plate until Texas proves they aren’t taking until they get a strike. Once you get Texas batter down 0-1, throw a slider that starts over the plate and breaks off the plate. Once you have Texas batter down 0-2, or even 1-2, congrats you have a huge advantage. I know Texas’ MO is seeing a lot of pitches, but come on, that first pitch is meat so often. Just a little frustrated, but still love my Horns, and the trajectory they’re on. Hook’em!!!

Ban him from what? As I understand it, there is literally no accreditation apparatus in place for college agents. I could just declare I'm one right now and could represent a kid. It's nuts. But I get your point. It's amazing how many people became "concerned" for his "addiction" once he was caught (Including Saint Cody).

I remember when i was told how cody campbell was a “good guy” and “i have had nothing but positive interactions with him” when i said i don’t trust his intentions with how he’s going about tech’s NIL, So now i feel vindicated in my feelings towards that dip stick.
