Integrity? Tech fans chanting that word after that video is the funniest thing to come out of Lubbock since the last dust storm tried to relocate the entire city. Your program has spent the last month tripping over its own lies, scandals, and self‑inflicted humiliation, and you’re over here acting like a pre‑recorded apology‑video‑with‑background‑music is some kind of moral high ground. Your coach lied publicly and got exposed. Your booster went on radio pretending he could buy out games like he’s the commissioner of college football. Your QB got permanently banned for betting on his own team - the NCAA basically hit him with the sports equivalent of a restraining order. Your AD has been hiding behind scripted videos because he knows the second he takes real questions, the whole façade collapses. And YOU want to talk about integrity? Tech talking about integrity is like a pickpocket giving a TED Talk on financial ethics. That video wasn’t leadership. It was a hostage note from an athletic department begging the rest of the country to stop laughing at them. Spoiler: we’re not stopping

I agree this a nightmare, I agree with your thoughts on Protecting a state university. State of Texas cant donanything criminal, because Sorsby didn't make bets or was underage at the time in Texas. So, it would be a the request of the States and Federal because of cross state, I think, I am no lawyer. But, at the same time cant the Big 12 suspend him if he was under investigation by law enforcement, that would stop all this. End of the day, Campbell should have backed away and cut his losses. But, by doubling down is creating a lose lose for everybody. Whatever, dreams Tech had at being included in the Big boy world of college sports went out the door. How does one suspend a current athlete at Tech from betting on a sport the play. So, you are undercut the Athletic Director and Coach, so why should the players l8sten and how do you discipline. So messed up. - Today

Texas Tech's Video from Leadership
Tom Doluisio replied to Colby TS's topic in On Texas Football Forum
This video is just flat out pathetic. No way these guys actually believe what they are saying. The messaging is so obviously fake, condescending, and disingenuous that I'm not sure if I should be upset or laugh. If you truly care about the player why intentionally place him in the absolute worst position imaginable? Having him play might be best for winning, but it's flat out wrong for the sport, player, and University. Sorsby is now thought of by everyone outside of Lubbock as the poster child for what's wrong with college athletics. And talk about putting pressure on your QB! If this is truly a mental health/addiction issue get him some help and out of this toxic situation by moving on to the NFL. -
25-26 Director's Cup Thread
DirectorsCupUpdates replied to DirectorsCupUpdates's topic in On Texas Football Forum
In track, Texas Men advanced both of the hurdlers expected to score big points with podium finishes. They also have a chance at a few Triple Jump points tomorrow. Projected to finish 19th currently Women's Track also advanced our 400m hurdler and surprised a bit with our 4x1 team advancing. Projected to finish 33rd currently. Importantly Stanford W Track is down 1 of their 4 events as they failed to advance in the 1500 m. Their long shot at adding points to their directors cup score is even less likely now. They did win long jump as expected and will have chances to add a few points in high jump and 800m. Unless they win those events, they won't add points. Projected to finish 23rd (need a top 12 to add any points). What this all means is that Texas M Track could clinch the cup tomorrow. They need only 30 Directors Cup points, which is a 44th place finish and is projected to require 6 points scored in the meet. They are projected to finish 19th with 16.5 points scored. One of our two hurdlers needs to deliver. -

Right now it is likely that the 2 dropped sports will be W CC (0 points) and M CC (27 points). Possible that W Track and field falters and scores fewer than 27 points and gets dropped. -

Just be aware that it is Cody Campbell and Paxton who have made it political. Not OTF! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿 -

No, you don't understand. Paxton is literally doing his job by representing a state university. Burnt orange glasses are good for Saturdays in the Fall, but for other days I prefer the truth. -

University of Texas would have to willingly contradict a long standing NCAA standard of student athletes conduct. No other University has taken that stance other than TTU. Capiche??? -

So Paxton is writing legal threats against something that the Big XII might do…. Meanwhile I haven’t heard a thing from the AG’s office about the documented violation of Texas state gambling laws that Sorsby has admitted to. His priorities are “interesting” at best. -
Have to get him on name alone.

If the Maxwell twins from Atascocita don’t go pro and make it to campus next year, expect the Texas women to have one heck of a 4x100 relay next year. -

You probably got his best years though. He tormented my guys at PSG when he was at Barcelona though

As a Liverpool fan, I hated it and the team turned him loose. He rebounded ok even though he has villain energy from time to time.
