  1. Past hour
  2. Pete Nakos from On3 reported yesterday that Texas, ATM, Georgia, and LSU are showing interest in Angel Laya from Oregon. If we can get this guy the OF will be the best in the country 🤘🏻🤘🏻
  3. Billy Donovan to Michigan
  4. Big time hire. Well done Mav's.
  5. Yes. 15 day window is open. Texas has like one scholarship I think left. I’d love to add Thiam which would make us Natty favorites. Don’t know if the money is there for it.
  6. Now now. I trust the OTF team more than anyone, but there’s room for dissenting opinions and discourse. I’m all for false hope on a Monday. That said, I think every staff has a ton of work to do before he hits the finish line. Hope our staff sees an opening here and exhausts every resource to reel him in.
  7. I think Gerry forgot to include the word “yet”
  8. I don’t think he was disputing anything. Speigelman’s update actually lines up with what’s already been discussed here. It’s just another piece of info pointing in the same direction for Texas. Recruiting updates come from a lot of places, and when multiple sources - local and national - are saying similar things, that usually strengthens the picture, not contradicts it. So I don’t see anything weird about sharing it. It just adds to the overall context.
  9. Can Michigan players enter the portal since he left?
  10. Wow Dusty has had a crazy few years. From FAU to national champ and NBA coach within 3 years.
  11. Moustapha Thiam come on down to the 40 young man!
  12. Can you post the best reaction? Lol
  13. Michigan boards are handling this about as you'd expect.
  14. I wish the NBA could back to the days when they could indisputably claim they had the best athletes in the world. Cuban spearheaded the rules change that screwed us all. I'm thinking 1996. Jordan was unquestionably the best athlete in the world. 9 June 1996, Kobe had the best draft workout in the history of sports as a 17 year old. The consensus greatest pre-draft workout in American sports history belongs to 17-year-old Kobe Bryant during his legendary 1996 session with the Los Angeles Lakers. Held at the Inglewood YMCA, Lakers General Manager Jerry West originally scheduled the session as a favor to Bryant's agent. To test the high schooler, West matched him up in a 45-minute, one-on-one session against Michael Cooper, a recently retired Lakers defensive legend, former Defensive Player of the Year, and 9-time NBA All-Defensive selection. Bryant dominated the veteran so completely that West famously stopped the session early, stating it was the "greatest workout I've ever seen" and immediately declaring, "He's better than anybody we have on our team right now." This singular workout forced West to orchestrate a trade for the 13th overall pick to secure Bryant, fundamentally altering NBA history.
  15. Dusty Maye to Mavs WOW. someone wake up Sean Miller it’s time to go grab Thiam and win a natty this year!
  16. Who is them? No one from Michigan.
  17. wow who should we take from them
  18. Can't stand the Mavs, but it's a good hire.
  19. Bombshell. And one less coach in the way of Sean Miller. Let's go!!
  20. Don't sleep on 2 time national champion & all American Bill Atesis!
  21. Serious question. You pay for info here but then post info to dispute the info here? Weird...
  22. Today
  23. How is NIL not decided by the schools? Who else decides it?
  24. Wild card recruitment ... as I have said. The source, which is very close to LW-C, said Texas "absolutely" has a chance. He also said A&M has the relationships advantage. I believe a key part of this recruitment is ... the NIL piece of this is not decided by schools. That will be impactful.
