I recently went on a trip to San Diego and went on a boat. Out of Touch came on while we were gliding through the bay. Definitely qualified (for me) as quintessential yacht rock.

We sold our house in Buda a couple of years ago, but only relocated to San Marcos because of my wife's work. More restaurants/bars are popping up every week, it seems. There's plenty to do away from the I-35 corridor.

I wouldn't do much homework on Miami. With Arkansas not hosting and Mississippi State presumably getting that spot, it might make more sense to send the Hurricanes to Starkville.

Pretty much. Even if Arkansas had won today, would its RPI have improved enough (currently 21st) to get into the top 15?

Miami is a tough 2 seed, at least given their history of success. Don’t know anything about them this season though… In other news do we think the Aggies are going to have a parade for hosting? 😜

A lot of Hall and Oates nominations here, and I do not disagree. But, I have a question. Out of Touch is my favorite Hall and Oates song, but I do not consider that to be yacht rock. Unlike the rest of their catalogue. Am I off base here?

Arkansas not hosting is just another data point for how much these conference tournaments do not matter.

Arkansas looks like the biggest snub for a host. The Razorbacks were on the hosting bubble and made the title game of the SEC Tournament, but they’ll be on the road.

The fifth-ranked Texas baseball team was named one of 16 regional hosts for the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. The Austin Regional at UFCU Disch-Falk will begin on Friday, May 29. That wasn’t a surprise, considering the Longhorns won 40 regular-season games, finished second in the SEC standings and have been one of the nation’s top RBI teams (No. 5 in RPI according to D1Baseball.com).
