  1. Past hour
  2. Straining my eyes trying to find OU and Bama? 😆
  3. I hoped to get to this on Coffee and Football this morning, but we just didn't have time. CBS Sports released their CFP projections and has the Longhorns facing off against Texas Tech in the first round. The winner of that game would play LSU.
  4. Agree Sayin did not light the world on fire. 13-20 for 126 is not an impressive stat line. He did have 3 obvious drops and threw a couple away on purpose. The 40 yard TD to Tate was maybe his worst throw of the day, with that said I wont call it a fluke, I will call it an underthrown ball and a helluva play by Tate who is an outstanding athlete and that catch took athleticism, effort and concentration. Maybe only makes that catch 30-40% of the time. Sayin did get all of his passengers on the bus home safely. Look forward to his development and he will get to let it rip the next 2-3 weeks and gain some confidence.
  5. yes he was calm and cool . and scored 14. the ohio has a great defense
  6. Sayin had 12 career passing attempts prior to being the first player in history to beat the #1 ranked team in their first career start. I think that was a hell of a first game.
  7. Today
  8. I’ve got tickets for sale. 2 for Kentucky in Longhorn section. Sec. 209, Row 36 Asking 400 for pair. 2 for Florida in the Longhorn section . Sec. 321, Row 31. Asking 600.00 for pair. 4 for ou. Sec. 127, Row 35 Asking 450 per ticket. Will split. Hook’em
  9. The season rides on the games in the Swamp and in the Cotton Bowl. Have to go 1-1 at worst there. 0-2 there and you’re Citrus Bowl bound. 2-0 and SEC championship, CFP and beyond are still on the table. 1-1 you have no margin for error left.
  10. sayin looked like the bus driver to me. 13 -20 126 yards. people acting like he was great yo. my a$$. and 40 yards was a fluke double bobble to tate with our defender with an arm across tates stomach...
  11. Correct. 100 of Arch's passing yards came in the 4th qtr when they were down 14-0. With that said still not sure either team is championship caliber yet, but they both have top 5 defenses in the country. Lets see what Texas does vs Florida & Georgia and what we do vs Illinois, Penn State & Michigan
  12. The next 3 weeks should all be easy wins. It will be opportunity to improve but IMO we still won't know who we are. After the ou game if we are 5-1 the 2nd half of the season will be fun. We come out 3-3... Woof.
  13. The honeymoon is over. After an underwhelming first game, and all the criticism cast on our offense and QB, this team better come out with a sense of urgency and serious chip on its shoulder.
  14. Well that and it was rushed, O didn't even get a chance to get set. I know they didn't put a ton of trust in Arch but some bootleg passes wouldn't have killed them, to Endreis. I think Gerry or someone mentioned this a year or so ago, Sark is great between the 20's but once the field condenses he seems to not be able to figure it out. Not all the time, obviously but it is becoming an noticeable trend for his teams.
  15. 100%. I was shocked when I saw the yardage difference because watching the game live it felt like Ohio State was clearly the better team.
  16. It’s a long season. I’d rather start slow and finish strong. Remember “Texas…. is back” after ND in 2016?
  17. It probably will be the route I will have to go. I didnt know I had this many family members coming into town on a home game weekend.
  18. Be sure to join us around 8:15 AM for Coffee and Football, as we discuss the latest topics surrounding the Longhorns and answer your questions. Today we'll also be joined by OTF's Bob Shipley to talk about the Ohio State game, what to expect Saturday and more.
  19. Credited with 6 tackles, and 6 QB hurries
  20. In a game where there might not be any points scored by half, you kick FG. Except for OSU’s wideouts, Sayin is bunch were raw. They were not going to score more than 17. Take the points in that type of game.
  21. Missed first two games with ankle injury http://www.hudl.com/v/2SXZ1K
  22. Hoping this is a bye week for Bouwmeester
  23. He said as much when he said this game is about us. I wouldn't be surprised if Texas scores 70 these next three games, because where Sark normally likes to have a 50:50 run pass ratio he more than likely will have a 60:40 ratio to get Arch looks and reps. These games are glorified scrimmages.
  24. The beginning of the bounce back 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
  25. I think Sark should use this game to work on very specific issues the team has. Work on Arch throwing to the right side. Forget about the long ball. Work on the touch with the short to intermediate. Focus on timing and crisp route running. Don’t worry about the score
