Because the OL we see in September will be very different. Goosby - Seymore/Coleman - Robertson - Baker - Siani.

I agree. For your viewing pleasure he should risk an injury. Especially in April. Cut him and save the money. I was disappointed overall. They used pads and helmets. Texas soft is back. Amirite?

Did you expect to feel differently coming out of an open practice where 3 starters in one position room were held out? I would have been really concerned for this defense if the OL made you feel good yesterday with Goosby and Siani on the sideline and Laurence Seymore in Miami.

Obviously lots of starters out on OL, but it concerns me that this was the position group of absolute need and it’s still a massive question mark.

The pieces along the offensive line are better than what Texas had last season. We'll see how it translates when it matters.

To your point, I had the same feeling some people get when they watch NFL preseason games. You've got to be really invested in your team to try and glean something from watching a lot of guys who might not contribute all that much during the regular season. Still, if Texas is going to play 16 or 17 games, you need quality depth at every position, so those snaps matter.

Dia Bell Update OTF exchanged messages with a member of Dia Bell's circle. As everyone knows, he didn't take part in the spring practice Saturday. He was suited out, tried to warm up, but couldn't push off left side and rotate. OTF was told he took a hard hit (not on purpose) in Thursday's practice to his shin/calf. He will be fine, just bad luck on timing of the minor injury. He's expected to be fine per the person in his circle.

Can’t believe I’m rooting for the Hogs, but hopefully they can win that series today so Texas can get back into the SEC regular season championship race (assuming Texas takes of business of course).
