I track prices every year. The sweet spot is Weds-Thurs before the game. It used to be that deals were to be had right at gametime or after kickoff, but those days are over. A few years ago I went to the Fairgrounds, checked prices for hours and never bought a ticket, not even at halftime. It feels like with this and other secondary market ticket prices that there simply isn't movement last minute as there was before. I suspect large scalping orgs eat up large chunks of the tix and are willing to eat a few tix to protect their prices elsewhere. But whatever the dynamics, ticket prices are absolutely nuts these days. I really wanted to see Beach House here in Nashville tonight but I'm not going to pay $270 a ticket. They should be less than $80. 2026 is awful.

If Texas plays even 3 quarters of a game as they should they can beat any team. The inconsistency is maddening.

Doubt if he comes here. Collin Simmons said he would not play with anyone that would show such disrespectful behavior on the field.

Not sure what position Snell wants to play or how he rates against other prospects, but I can attest he was a dynamic hitter last year. A lot of guys that Snell hit had to wobble off the field.

I wish I had more but there isn’t anything new on him that we haven’t already reported. Texas has the commitment, LSU and Florida still big threats. More LSU than UF

Bet on tech…

Exactly, it’s not about the schedule we know we’ve won big games thus far. It’s about the execution and what’s coming on our schedule. If we keep playing like this we could very easily be on the outside looking in again. I just don’t like the rankings this early personally and being number 1 is just getting us more negative scrutiny.

I don’t know how. He has no production for two seasons with big injuries now as a concern and also has a litany of character issues and incidents on the field and may not even play the rest of the year. If they give him a first round grade at the end of the season and invite him to the combine I guess he’d be foolish not to declare but I just don’t see how there’s any intelligence in picking Dylan Stewart as a first rounder with all things considered now.

Just keep stacking W's and who gives a flip about the media or polls.

Quoting reality: he’s right. It’s so ignorant, or whatever word, to deny we are clearly not the best team in the country right now. It’s objectively true. Top 5 defense. Very mid and inconsistent offense. We beat number one but that was also only one good quarter of football and the heat. Also, who gives a 💩 about the ranking? Not anyone serious right now though that could include some of the team with the antics and a coach tweeting pics with cigars. We have more cigar tweets than playoff wins under Sark.

If he can get to like 14+ sacks in the 12 regular season games and Texas is in the CFP at that point, I think he ends up in New York, even though a 100% defensive player will probably never win the Heisman.
