1. Probably the deep ball and running game for Sark. 2. 3 and outs

Cool but you'll need to lock comments before the pronunciation debate gets out of hand!

With the resources that Texas has, it should at the very least be in the top 25 if not the top 10 of oline's in college football. To not even be in the top 50 is beyond pathetic.

I’ll be there with my Shiner Bock and ready to yell about ou sucks. Nothing beats this Christmas tradition with the crew.

Just want to let everyone know that we have a new local sponsor. It's Berdoll Pecans. OTF members can get 10pct off all orders for pecans, candies fudge, beef jerky, etc., when they use the promo code OTF at checkout. I've been going to Berdoll for 30+ years and can speak to the quality. It's a gift I get my parents and in-laws every year (and I get some for myself, too). Website is http://www.berdoll.com So if you want a little taste of Austin, use promo code OTF10 and get 10% off at Berdoll.

Even if we make the playoffs...Flood has to go....We have a historically bad O line.

I agree. It will be interesting because he will have to change his tune about the OC role and let go of his buddy Kyle Flood. I understand the loyalty aspect, but there’s a line. OC is interesting because will he do it out of force or because he had a revelation? If it’s the former, it will be hard as a head coach to be successful.

What a joke

Would any one really trade Schloss for Skip Johnson? I like Skip fine but even with the national championship I wouldn't trade places.

If we go 8-4 he will make changes (including hiring a new play caller). You have nothing to worry about there. 9-3 and missing playoffs will probably force him to make changes as well.

Terrible. Just terrible. lol

My original comment was related to him going 8-4 AND refusing to make changes. Do you think donors of the largest NIL collective in the nation would be ok with him running it back a 3rd straight year with no changes? Big programs like Oregon and OU have already fired their OC for underachieving.

Yes haha

No need to follow for Texas. Not at this time.

Did he mean "stinker"? In seriousness, probably the deep post and seam routes. Don't know of anything else that would be considered effective against the defense so far.

Sark making changes vs replacing Sark isn't even remotely the same thing...how many other coaches have been to the final four 2 out of 3 years? I swear we are the most spoiled fan base outside of maybe Bama.

I heard it was a shoulder injury and Texas’ stinger is Ryan Wingo.

I think the “stinger” is the weaponry individuals possess. Each individual would have a different “stinger”. Arch may be excellence throwing long or utilization of the legs. Simmons, pass rush. Biles freelance. Wingo YAC…etc OL…hmmm…bull fighting?

I think Sark believes it's the explosive downfield plays. I'm not sure this team can execute those with the regularity of something that would also be described as bread and butter. What can they rely on every series or in crunch time?

8 of top 10 from SEC... 🤘

In his mind, max protect deep shots. In reality, the defense is most scared of Wingo quickly getting the ball

I like that one. That's where I'm at if not the quick pass/screen game.

Solid answers. lol

If you are Brysen Wright, which offense do you think will best highlight your talents and let you play as a freshman? Miami or Texas. 😂😂😂 If he picks us its because we paid him twice what Miami offered.

I think a big part of Sark's MO is setting up future plays. He seems willing to lay a turd on one play if he can set up the stinger when you don't expect it. That's usually a deep hit, or one of those Wingo sideline screens etc... I love Sark actually, but sometimes I think he is gets too lost in the setup instead of just plodding down the field, and I don't think currently he has been taking the level of play of the OL into consideration in his play calling very well. He could help them out quite a bit by adjusting his playcalling a bit imo until the bigger issues get resolved. 🤘
