  1. Past hour
  2. Deals with Red Bull, Vuori, Warby Parker, and others sure help as well 🤘
  3. Jerry West's 1996 draft-day acquisition of Kobe Bryant—drafted 13th by Charlotte and traded to the Lakers for Vlade Divac—is widely considered the greatest draft move in NBA history. It secured a 20-year Hall of Fame career, five championships, and cleared cap space to sign Shaquille O'Neal.
  4. Based strictly on what I've seen, I am not worried about his speed, physicality or route running. His ability to make the easy and difficult catches must improve for him to become a big-time player.
  5. Reel Analytics has well-known issues because it utilizes film technology that is inconsistent based on viewing aspects, tilt of the camera angle, etc. The best are the actual measuring devices that individual teams use, which is where Brown got his.
  6. If Sark were leave Texas, Freeman would be the top 3 of CDC list for the next HC!
  7. As we've reported previously, Arch Manning is conspicuously absent from these lists. He forewent $$$ in NIL rev share in order to help Texas build a better overall team.
  8. I believe he’s a terrific young coach. Think hes built for college football, if he stays in it long enough. Does that mean guaranteed NC’s? Of course not. Some terrific coaches didn’t win an NC in the history of the sport, while a lot lesser coaches did.
  9. Today
  10. I don't know the first thing about how this works, but maybe the delay was about who pays for it, and what infrastructure system the whole process happened in? Texas may not have wanted to invest in all that if he wasn't gonna help the team next year. But he didn't have a professional employer yet either. So he would have had to *shoulder the bill himself in order to do it in the 6 weeks between the end of the season and now?
  11. I’m more excited about R Brown than almost any other transfer. He’s exactly the sort of piece that Sark weaponizes to perfection. I think he could add a Jaydon Blue element to this offense
  12. Yeah, Arch and Goosby will give all the rehearsed answers, and then Colin will make Bianco pull his hair out. 😂
  13. Yup a very good point. Ole Miss is one of the teams I struggle with predicting for next year
  14. It's not the results, per se, it's the sheer number of one-possession games. Texas went 3-2 last season in one score games . Ole Miss went 6-2. Playing 8 one possession games in a 15 game season and having that good of a record means you got a bit lucky.
  15. Yes, during the 2001 playoffs, then-Los Angeles Lakers head coach Phil Jackson stated that Kobe Bryant had the best all-around court game he had ever seen from any of his players—even better than Michael Jordan.
  16. Texas also barely survived vs Kentucky, Miss St, and (although a good team) Vanderbilt. Next season they can’t have multiple games come down to the wire against teams you should beat
  17. The hoopers are making some serious $$$
  18. Ole Miss had a 6-2 record in one-possession games last year, including one-possession wins against Arkansas and Washington State. Typically playing that many one score games and having that good of a record means regression is coming.
  19. Watched the MSST game, but not Tech. Would imagine there wasn't much success against Tech given how talented that front seven was. vs. MSST, ASU had most of their success in gap running. They couldn't do anything consistently in zone schemes.
  20. My guess would be to also reward the #2 RB for his work and contributions with Hardy out. Shows they value his efforts for stepping up imo. edit: wow just saw Roberts had almost 1000 APY last year playing behind Hardy. Could be a breakout player next season.
