  1. Past hour
  2. You’re right. My bad. To throw, not 1 pass beyond the line of scrimmage - illegal forward pass - but, to then throw 2 passes in the next game which is something that does not occur at the high school level let alone at college…as a 4th year player by the way. WOW. Throws into double coverage constantly - how many pics - but, misses the wide open receiver over and over. Throws 2 pics while having the lead (OU) and then fumbles in the pocket (UF) with 3 time outs and struggles game in and game out, but other than that you’re right. As to the back seats. Nah! I did it from the front row on the field and whose son did it from the front row there afterwards. I would encourage you to move up from the cheap seats and to focus. Focus is important and to focus on details Little Carmine. A Critical thinking skill set is vital is in this scenario and conversation; especially to success in the long run. HOOK’em!!!! Let’s raise the bar and go win a Nattie!
  3. I’m with you there. How did arch go from last year to this year and just get absolutely worse as each game goes on. Mf Jeff Traylor for giving everyone the playbook to destroy Texas offense. Damn that man. He coached me and my son in high school. I love the man but damn him. I honestly believe he would kill it if you gave him Texas longhorns resources. He would not lose any top recruits in East Texas. The respect he has in Texas high school football is next level. Yeah yeah I know he is not the splash hire. But that man bleeds burnt orange and has since he was a kid.
  4. Great stuff! Just let spears run point forward if isaiah gets bjrt
  5. Where is our 5 star safety that was highly gifted player in two sports. Why do we get 5 star players that never see the field and other programs have here 5 star players balling out. Copper, Bishop, and both Terrys only see couple plays a game. This are the kids that can change the game. But sark is a practice guru, some kids ball out when the lights are on versus practice heroes. Bishop has done nothing but ball in his chances.
  6. Ankle Sprain range can be two weeks, can be 1 year. all depends on the grade
  7. Hard to say for me yet...but 1. If Isaiah Johnson were to go down at lead guard. With Mikey Lewis out, that would create real issues. 2. I think opponents are going to pack the paint on Texas some this year because they draw so many paint fouls ... who does Sean Miller have on the court in those times? The best offensive team on the perimeter for that (Ogden and/or Sterling) is also the worst defensive team (Sterling) vs. the best defensive lineup (Evans or Freeman). I'm sure something else will pop up when watching them play
  8. This is what happens when you run your defense into the ground. Odds go up the more you play. Congrats Sark. Your offense somehow injured your best defender.
  9. Would you be upset, not a knee, gonna be a top 10 pick regardless
  10. It was there for Texas to make a statement and be back in the top 5. But we $hit the bed. My birthday weekend and I am absolutely sick and exhausted over Texas offensive struggles
  11. No reason for him to risk additional injury. Hope he rests up. Steven will keep him in the field too long.
  12. He didn't look too upset so didn't appear to be anything season ending.
  13. Top 5 pick…potential loss next week…✌️
  14. Freeman is never leaving Notre Dame unless he has NFL ambitions. They have a clear path the CFB every year. Although they look like they might lose this BYU game. Cignetti doesn't seem like he wants to leave Indiana. He's got a ton of support, got a cushy new deal and is doing really well there despite the loss to Ohio State today. Saban and Meyer are never going back to coaching. Anyone else you want to go after is a risk. Now they'll have a great financial support system behind them to go and get whatever they want. But Sark already has that and has in a lot of aspects under performed. You'd also have to convince the boosters to spend well over 50 million and convince them that this next guy will get Texas over the top. I mean we have 1 national title in how many years now? That just isn't good enough for a blue blood. I fear Sark missed his window in 23 and 24.
  15. I don't know, years 1 & 2 of Sark it seemed we no longer had the "soft" label. Imho, and I'm not looking at the defense, we've become soft again.
  16. honestly if we lose next week, i don’t see any reason for him to come back & suit up tbh
  17. Yep, he’ll sit out and I don’t blame him
  18. Starting a new thread because I think this combines a lot of the subjects we are all discussing or debating😉 Explain to me how our “brilliant play designer and play caller” can’t come up with an answer/counter to the 6 or 7 ghost front blitzes? He saw Texas St. have some success with it in game 1 to stop the bleeding with the game already out of hand. I couldn't believe Ohio St didn’t run it more in game 2(a gift) and UTSA stifled us with it when they were already down by a few scores and nothing to lose. Followed by Tenn and their 5 sacks and numerous TFLs that almost allowed them to come back. We then had a bye week to fix it only to have both OU and FL beat us with it! This has now lead us to have a QB, OL and our entire Offense to have no confidence! An unconfident offense is depicted by numerous 3 and outs and turnovers! (I’m guessing everybody on this board believed we were going to have a 3 and out after FL’s 8 minute drive?) If I’m a DC, you typically worry that Sark would have an answer at some point and are scared to do it too much thinking they will eventually get burned by it. Sark has shown no obvious counters. Where are the audibles, fake audibles, checks to the WRs for hot routes, etc? Nothing but the same plays he continues to run. However, every game Defenses run it more and more to the point where everyone will now start the game with it and make Sark and our O prove they have a solution. Therefore, in my opinion, this rests 100% on Sark. Arch thrived in this unrelenting pressure position last year and this year they are collapsing the pocket so fast that he can’t find a hole to escape or he is watching for defenders instead of looking for receivers who are wide-open or have their backs to him. Arch is fried mentally because Sark’s stubbornness to see and change their approach when defenses line up in these ghost fronts. The OL, particularly the C, is either getting immediately getting pushed back into Arch or are reaching for defenders they can’t get to. This is not the first time defenses have run these fronts against teams. Typically, they run these looks when they need a TFL and hope they don’t get burned by it. They are supposed to be a gambling defensive call. Now they are running it all the time and especially on 3rd and short. Texas and Sark are seeing it more and more because defenses are having more and more success against us doing it. It has now snowballed to the point where we have a very unconfident and frustrated entire offense. This is a Sark creation and problem! Our QB wasn’t this bad last year, our OL is befuddled even though I really believe we are more talented and we know we have better weapons than ever. It doesn’t matter when you allowed a problem to become what is half way through a season which is destroying the team! Just my opinion😉
  19. What is this teams biggest weakness or concern heading into the season?
  20. Great news. Unfortunately severe ankle sprains can have long timetables, so I’m not sure if we see him again this season.
