  1. Past hour
  2. I wish we can interview Earl Thomas on OTF
  3. Neither nationally recruited … both were absolutely talent maximizers
  4. Colt and Earl were 2 of the absolute best to ever do it at Texas!!!! College football returns this week. We’ve just about made it folks. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
  5. When you think of No. 12 at Texas, it starts and ends with Colt McCoy and Earl Thomas. McCoy finished his Texas career with a 45-8 record as a starter, 13,253 passing yards, 112 passing touchdowns and 14,824 yards of total offense. He was a two-time consensus All-American, won the Walter Camp Award twice, and took home the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien and Manning Awards in 2009. Texas eventually retired his No. 12. Thomas was just as dominant on the other side of the ball. In only two seasons, he piled up 149 tackles, 10 interceptions and 33 pass breakups. His eight interceptions in 2009 set a Texas single-season record, and he earned consensus All-American honors while helping lead the Longhorns to the national championship game. 12 days until kickoff, yall.
  6. Today
  7. Michael 'Longball' Dickson was one of the most dominant players at his position in college football history. When your punter is the best player on the field for both teams, he gets the nod.
  8. You think that's bad? Wait until Muschamp's Defense gives up a big play or someone misses a tackle, etc.
  9. It doesn't help when our defensive backs give 10 yard cushions to the receivers. We played scared in the secondary last year. I don't see that happening this year.
  10. Much ado about nothing. He had a moment. Lighten up.
  11. I am looking forward to the soccer only facility.
  12. Just finally rewatched Ohio st last year and I feel a lot better than first time around. 1). We weren’t great but we actually moved the ball better than I thought. 2) went for it on the one yard line (instead of sneak I’d rather another arch draw, but ran that the two previous plays) and another TOD in the red area later. 3) Even though not accurate arch maneuvered the pocket like a pro. He’ll definitely use his legs more if he has to 4) our receivers could not get open 5) Ohio st sat on the ball on offense and played bend don’t break. Didn’t fell like we had many possessions. That 14 point lead felt like 28. I feel better because our offense is better than last year no doubt, Arch is better, will probably be a nightmare with his legs, and we had some runs that I think smothers or brown would’ve made them pay more. I think day doubled down this offseason with his OC hire. And that seems to be the theme going around college football. Slower pace on offense. And playing bend don’t break allows the opposing offense to run the clock for you. As long as you stop them when it matters, and score on your end it’s a pretty good strategy. But it’s risky and Miami game proved why for them. No margin for error.
  13. Just wait till Texas State and Arch throws a ball that flutters a little instead of a perfect spiral. It'll be panic all over social media and ESPN.
  14. Texas gets another W on the season. 3-0-1 on the early season. Unbeaten so far. 🤘🏻⚽️
  15. Michael Dickson by quite a bit, imho. My #2 would be Palmer. I liked Dodge and Heard, but not a distinguished enough of a record. Koenning, I don't know enough about
  16. Texas up 1-0 thanks to CoCo Riggins
  17. And now a sack! Get it Ant!
  18. Anthony Hill interception! Picking on Milroe again…
  19. I'm not panicking personally. More in wait and see mode.
  20. Gotch Yarborough and Unique Brissett II
