  1. Past hour
  2. I would hope the SEC would smarten up and shift one of aggy/arky so that we get one of them at home and the other on the road while OU stays neutral every year. It's dumb to have us go on the road to play both in the same year and then have us host both the same year.
  3. Gerry, how would you compare him to CJ Baxter coming out?
  4. Today
  5. @Immamaci sent you a message, thx
  6. Thanks Jeff. Awesome article. I remember a lot of the games highlighted.
  7. But seriously, I’ve been craving a show like this for a long time. Love the idea, Blake—can’t wait to listen!
  8. I’ve enjoyed Jeff’s longer-form articles for years. They really add another dimension to the OTF content. Awesome job as always, @Jeff Howe!
  9. That sounds like the College Station version of “2 girls, 1 cup”
  10. I’m in! 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
  11. Holy baby Jesus, look at the line up for that show. Congrats on getting this set up Blake, look forward to seeing this.
  12. Three GOATs and one kid? Might have a better ring to it, yeah? Congrats Blake, sounds like a great idea.
  13. Fantastic news! 🤘 Are y'all just going to cover the big divisions or any chance there is some under 5A content?
  14. All of the "alignment" talk today is whistling past the graveyard. Gird your loins.
  15. Yeah I agree, Brock Bower was a special talent at TE, Klare is good but no way would I compare him to Bowers lol.
  16. Klare is good but he's nowhere near Bowers, that's a crazy comparison lol. Good TE but I don't know if I'd go that far. Agree with you about Smith, but Tate and Innis aren't on the same level as Egbuka, imo. He was a legit 1st round talent and a stud at WR with Smith. I don't recall Tate having a big game against us but I'd have to go and look it up. I think Texas needs to get pressure and rattle Sayin, get in his head. They'll also disguise how they take on Smith. I'm not worried tbh, I think it'll be a great game and exciting. Tons of NFL talent all over the field in this one.

  18. When they discussed this earlier it was mentioned the league would revisit the "permanent three" every four years (after the home/away is done with the rotating 12) and adjust if someone ended up with too brutal a grouping. The goal would be to try to keep it fairly even SOS wise. This was from an article in The Athletic - so the league is aware of the potential problem.
  19. Good question/topic. I think the problem you run into once you lock in so many permanent games is you end up with the same scheduling imbalances the SEC has had for years. Take Slurp as an example. Their top permanent game would be against us over the Thanksgiving weekend (and preferably, Thanksgiving). The next likely candidate is LSU, maybe, who, in turn, would also be a likely opponent of Alabama. Our three would not be a picnic either. The RRR is a rivalry game/tossup no matter the talent differential. And OU won’t be “down” for more than a few years. And Slrup/Arky are tough road environments and rivalries in their own right.
  20. 2026 SEC Home Games: - South Carolina - Missouri - Auburn - Tennessee or LSU 2026 SEC Away Games: - Arkansas - Texas A&M - Mississippi - Tennessee or LSU 2026 SEC Neutral Game: - Oklahoma (OU would be considered the "home" team in Dallas since it's an even year) That would mean Texas would not play Alabama in the regular season in their first three seasons in the SEC, but it makes sense since they had the home and home in '22 and '23.
  21. Heck yeah! Why wouldn’t we?
  22. Meh; every school can rotate two “11th” teams every 4 years; South Carolina and Kentucky.
  23. Don’t you think they have to go on the road to Ole Miss and Tennessee?
