It's not that he doesnt want to but his injury is severe and would cost him a lot of his season regardless he isnt improving his stock. Frankly he was not good enough to think he would be drafted and think that injury just sent him "scrambling"

I think the big recruit they're flipping is Brewster from Tech. Could be wrong. As for the drama around Royal, well that is not of his own doing. It's more so because of his ranking, the state he comes from and LSU basically tightening the screws on in state recruits. In saying that Texas would happily take both Sales and Royal. Both different skill sets but very talented. Plus with high level 5 star recruits like this, there is always going to be drama. But most of it isn't coming from the young man. So far from all reports he seems locked into his commitment.
