We should have been more prepared for the 3 teams we lost. We could have beat Ohio Staye if Arch would have had half a pulse. He got way better. The stupid OTAs in the spring didn’t help our physicality. These kids aren’t pros! We were too soft against Georgia and Florida. Our game plan also sucked against both. We need to scheme to beat teams with similar athletes. We got out coached. You know who else schedules a hard non con no one is talking abou, Ohio State, and they had a good game-plan for a new qb and came out and beat us. Are we one of the best teams in the country. Probably top 7/8. Maybe 6/7, but I did r want to say that in case my kids saw me typing that. Should we be in, maybe. But we should have put up or shut up when it counted.

So when the committee doesn’t put us in, what’re you going do?
-
Bama 18 yards rushing. I seem to remember a committee leader talking about how Texas couldn’t run the ball against UGA. Whelp we aren’t the only ones. Also, has anyone noticed that ESPN has now taken Texas completely out of the narrative and it’s all about ND AND Miami getting in no mention of us at all and our good wins. Even going so far to say that Alabama had beaten 4 ranked teams in a row and no other team had a better resume than that. I’m saying, umm except for Texas. Cowards.

Florida beat Tulane 33-8 in a bowl game last season Tulane would be a 7pt or so dog in the Swamp while JMU would be north of 10

This isn’t emotion—it’s reason. Double digit wins over two current top 10 teams isn't bragging—it's evidence. Losses happened, sure, but context matters. Demanding that the committee be held accountable for ignoring strength of schedule and head-to-head is the opposite of being weak. It’s remarkable to see people sit back and mindlessly repeat the talking points of a committee that commands no respect and has been widely discredited
