  1. Past hour
  2. That was my first thought. Hopefully he's smart enough to see a sinking ship and stay off of it.
  3. No joke. The whole "throw the records out" in a rivalry may have some merit, but to lose that game was inexcusable.
  4. There will be a new OC when there is a new HC. I have always said, that if the powers that be need to tell Sarkisian to hire a new OC, then you should just go ahead and fire him and start over.Though I do hope that the new guy would like the defensive staff and keep them mostly in place, if not the entire crew. They are really good at what they are doing, except Nansen. We could upgrade there.
  5. We all know it but that doesn’t make it easier to look at on a spreadsheet. This needs to be papered all over the locker rooms, practice field, weight room, etc as a challenge to the OLine. It’s just simple pride that should be taking a hit…I couldn’t look at my teammates if this was me. I quit my sport because my heart wasn’t in it anymore and I wasn’t helping the team.
  6. One of the better ones this year. I always love their stuff.
  7. Second time we lost to a team that made a major firing before the season was over. Depressing.
  8. Three out on a limb thoughts: 1) Is our DL too good for our OL's development? Even the DL twos are good enough that I wonder if they've broken the OL's confidence. Instead of developing, are the linemen spending every practice correcting mistakes? Iron sharpens aluminum? 2) Is the OL coach really the answer? Every time we've hired a "top 5 OL coach" since 2010, the result has been the same. Bill Bedenbaugh didn't forget how to coach either, and Oklahoma's line is struggling too. A big name college coach has to align with Sark, and an NFL OL coach might help with scheme and technique, but maybe not with developing 18-year-olds. So is it really as simple as firing Flood and throwing money at the next home-run hire with skins on the wall? 3) Is it strength? Becton has the team fast and well conditioned. The DL anchors well but doesn't really penetrate (bonus pts for big man tuddys), and the OL looks weak. A few years ago I think we brought Dana LeDuc back to work on strength. Is he still around? Is strength training part of the OL's struggle, or do they just not know what to do in live fire?
  9. Geez. There's just no getting around how bad that is. Sad stuff.
  10. Yes Sark and Arch could do their part to discourage DCs from a full frontal assault, but this sure is crazy to see:
  11. That's how you make decisive decisions. Sark needs to do the same with Flood. Not mid season but after our last game on the way to the locker room.
  12. You think they will try and poach our OC?
  13. Going to be pissed if OU hires Chip Kelly.
  14. Jason Witten will take over offensive play calling for the Sooners
  15. Talking about it here:
  16. We better be on the phone with top OC candidates before OU gets a good one.
  17. Today
  18. Flood will be gone after the season is over. Milwee will also be out the door.
  19. I wanted him to do well against everyone else (except texas). My sister knows his brother really well. Apparently a nice guy, comes from a good family
  20. Have to imagine the big money bosters will demand Flood's head
  21. Lot cheaper to fire the OC after they stupidly gave BV a big extension
  22. Burton said last night Sark is safe this year.
  23. Missing the playoffs 3 years in a row would be bad. Burton said last night regardless of results this year Sark is safe.
  24. Changing OL coaches midseason isn't going to do anything positive for us. It's not like there is somebody else on staff that can coach the position.
  25. I hope the continue to invest in Midteer QBs OL and skill players
