I will throw in Priest Holmes as unexpected. Undrafted, but made 3 Pro Bowls and was NFL Offensive POY. He was great in the NFL, particularly in KC.

Yeah, that would be a good counter to this thread - who unexpectedly did much better in the NFL than anticipated? Charles is a good pick. Poona Ford would get a nod from me - too short, UDFA in 2018, but kept at it and has been a starter on some good teams. Recently signed a 3 year contract worth $27,600,000 with $15.6 million guaranteed. And got a shout out from Jason Kelce as one of the toughest guys he went against. From a $488,000 min wage rookie deal to $9 million average deal now - didn't see that coming after going undrafted.

Yep. I think he's still in the league, but he hasn't seen much action. On the other hand, I totally missed the boat on Omenihu. I didn't think he would last in the league, yet there he is still. I'm happy for him. I just didn't see it.

VY was about 5-10 years ahead of his time in the NFL. It’s remarkable to think about how good he could have been in the right system in today’s game.

VY and then depending on how you look at it, the Shipley brothers. With their quickness and precise route-running abilities I was surprised one didn't become the next Wes Welker or the first Cooper Kupp.

I would argue Duvernay has had a solid NFL career. He carved out a nice role for himself in Baltimore and although he was recently cut by Jaguars, think he did better than many thought he would. Just my opinion.

In-game speed - X was the fastest in 2023 at 22.7 mph in week 12. And Jaydon Blue ran 22.3 mph in week 13, the fastest top speed for a RB in 2023. These times are slightly slower than combine numbers since they're wearing pads etc and not running on a track. Here's a link to the entire 2023 data.
