Is OTF monitoring this?
Texas fan in Georgia replied to Roy Hinojosa's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The Texas culture isn’t fitting the Texas culture right now -
Kyle Flood has got to go

Not happening, but I understand the frustration. -
That would eliminate 95% of our fans 😂

I don’t see that ever happening. Flood and Sark are tied at the hip and boys. I suspect a lot of Texas fans will be calling for Sark to be fired soon.
-
Quitters won’t fit the Texas culture.
-
Guessing the family wants to keep injury private but inform the Texas staff.
-
Wouldn’t mind taking a quitter or two if they can play OL

I’ve seen enough. He had three years to work towards replacing the 2024 starters… and this is what we got. We didn’t pick up anyone in the portal. That’s an abject failure in the evaluation of his own room over the past two seasons. We’ve had multiple huge whiffs in recruiting. For the past four years, our offensive line has showed little in the way of power run blocking and short yardage, with poor aggression and bad technique. Even the 2024 crew was bad in the red zone. The guy has OC in his title and gets paid like one, but he doesn’t even call plays or take primary responsibility for game planning. All he has to do is get his room to be able to block for the schemes Sark wants to run. So he’s really just a mediocre to poor OL coach getting paid like one of the most expensive OCs in the country and has shown no track record of being able to recruit or develop. The above in aggregate is cause enough for dismissal at the University of Texas, a place where he has had essentially limitless resources as his disposal. It’s malpractice for the OTF mods to not be having a more serious discussion about this topic. @CJ Vogel has the chance to start asking the tough questions at Sark’s press conferences.

So you want take quitters from the portal
-
Their head coach just got fired and coaching staff isn’t the greatest. The odds of them developing through the course of this season is slim to none. Every player that is thinking of transferring that still has a redshirt available will be told by their agent to hit the portal to preserve a redshirt as that is important for two int forward at their next stop where they will be developed.
-
and therefore not develop because they won’t be on the team anymore.
-
Because they can redshirt and not lose a year of eligibility
-
Seems the offensive staff is doing everything they can to look inept so i doubt it.
-
Probably not.
-
Any chance we see him suit up at LG or RT next week?
-
Why would any player from UCLA or Virginia Tech enter the portal until.after the season. They need PT to show they can play.
