  1. Past hour
  2. I stand by what I reported this morning.
  3. He isn't losing them for going after higher rated players 🤣🤣. We are losing them because everyone has more money to play with this year. Smaller schools can now afford to pay your backups and 3rd stringers what you wont or can't. Cultural suicide, and spitting in their faces lmfao. These kids are trying to go to the highest bidder. So did Texas make it business or did getting an agent and trying to get a raise every year make it business. Especially if you didn't play a significant role or develop anymore than the previous year.
  4. I just think this thread will be shut down and new one started before then
  5. @CJ Vogel still hasn't recovered
  6. Can he play guard? Check is he in a wheelchair? No welcome to Texas
  7. I don't think he'll commit for a day or two - he may try and leverage an Alabama visit for more money
  8. Nailed it. “Staff openly talking about it” is an attempt to piss off an agent
  9. The big twist: CJ also learns that Gerry’s not his real dad 😢
  10. I doubt it’ll happen but hopefully this threads becomes more jovial when/if cam coleman commits to us.
  11. Could this approach burn bridges with recruits and coaches in HS?
  12. I like Zina a lot. I expect Texas to keep communication going.
  13. I agree he is clearly setting A&M up to make it look like it was a big head-to-head victory or trying to reverse jinx it imo
  14. I wouldn’t want to overpay for a non contributer either
  15. All money is the same green. Texas' culture will appeal to self motivators, but may alienate those who can not buy in. It is important to get the buy-ins to sustain the culture. Texas had at least 4 players play in the bowl game who could not or did not return. But they played anyway! Contrast that to Notre Divas who had so many opt outs because of their entitled culture. The Captains told Freeman that their 🐔💩 program may not be able to field a team. Freeman bent over and took it like prison wife. A real leader he is not! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  16. His agent is going to tell Tech the bid. This isn’t anything but him trying to be first.
  17. The career stats that we're losing with these two players: Zina: 13 tackles, 2 sacks Ffrench: 1 catch for 6 yards Granted they would have better stats if they got more playing time, but we're not losing much production. They can probably get a lot more playing time elsewhere which will also help them develop. Good luck to both young men.
  18. Loochi is trying to blow up Texas’ spot. Once he starts tweeting / posting like that you know he’s desperate. Basically a public cry for Elmo or Cody Campbell to up their offer or he’s a horn.
  19. Is there a limit to how many people you can block? I think my list will get pretty long. 😅
  20. Texas lost one developmental piece and one player who simply didn’t work out. Umeozulu is a legitimate SEC level athlete with long term upside, but in the short term he was unlikely to play much because Texas already has elite edge talent ahead of him. In 2026 he probably would have been a 15 to 20 snap player with the chance to become more down the road. Ffrench, on the other hand, showed almost nothing in his freshman season at a position with an extremely high bust rate. There was no real indication he was going to become a meaningful contributor, so keeping him would have meant holding onto a bad investment. Ultimately this came down to money and opportunity. Texas chose not to keep paying players who were unlikely to provide immediate value, and those players believed they could find more playing time and better financial situations elsewhere. Losing them costs some depth, but it also saves money and clears roster space so younger players are not blocked and coaches are not trying to justify past decisions. Both players are expected to land at Power 4 schools, but Umeozulu is the one with the best chance to become a contributor.
  21. I see you missed the entire point. Let's chat on the 17th.
  22. I’m gonna take what I can get. Need some positivity😂😂 obviously taking everything with a grain of salt
  23. That schools fans, players and coaches should know all to well what “taking L’s” feels like
