Garrison Brothers is in Hye on the way to Fredericksburg and is a great place to visit. William Chris winery is right on 290 in Hye and has some good wines. Some of the winereies mentioned above are good. Fredericksburg has a wide variety of restaurants and shops and a lot of the better restaurants are not on Main Street. The Admiral Nimitz/Pacific Museum is there and is a nice museum. He was from Fredericksburg. The LBJ State Park and National Historic place are west of Johnson City.

When you see the words private and equity in the same sentence with sports it becomes very hard for that team to win championships. Their goal is simple, put a decent enough product on the field, court, or diamond to keep butts in seats. Shareholders and ROI are the main thing, everything else is secondary.
