This is concerning.

I think Terry is a really solid coach. I don’t think he has a top 8 roster in the SEC to begin with. Some of the transfers just haven’t been big enough impact guys. But he reminds me a little of Hubert Davis at North Carolina. Give them players (part of their own doing in recruiting) then they will do well. Texas under Terry always seems to peak heading towards the postseason. You can also see the guys like him and play really hard for him. I could definitely see Terry sticking for another year if a really good option doesn’t materialize this offseason. If I’m Texas, do I look at Rick Pitino? Not sure what his contract situation is but throwing a bag at him wouldn’t be the worst idea, minus his age.

RT has to let his guys coach. Haith is a quality offensive coach IMO -
Correct. Was told he was committing to USC this week. Texas will stay on him, and get him back on campus.

Yes, the start time for today’s game is 4 p.m.

I’m now seeing the start time for tonight’s game moved up to 4 pm central. Hopefully someone can confirm.

Recruit through the whistle!

I think if we win today and Carolina losses we will pass them in the NET. We are only 3 behind them after yesterday's results. OU is probably safely in, but I agree with bierce about Baylor and I add another Big 12 team to that list, West Virginia. Net in the 50s, but they are apparently safely in?

believe this is who Gerry referenced earlier this week

Texas won’t go down quietly here

Players get paid to commit all this is here

This was who was talked about on one of the Wednesday/Thursday threads recently. I'm not too worried about this one.

At Texas, success does not mean continuation of employment when it comes to head coaches. CDC has dismissed coaches with winning records and bowl season success. And I agree with the previous poster, the season loses are not secondary all at once to a run in the SEC tournament. Win any number of late season games and Texas is not in the do or die situation they now face.

He needs to let a few assistants go. I think going from Bob to Frank is a huge reason why our half court offense looks so awful. Haith is a good recruiter, but we are seeing why he's never been a successful head coach, he's a bad offensive coach. This team has way too much offensive talent to be this inconsistent. If Terry somehow makes it back, he's currently 9-3 in the post-season at Texas, he will likely have a decent pool of players returning. CG - Pope G/W - Weaver, Presley F - Pryor, Codie C - Vinson That's a pretty decent athletic starting point, though the offense would be abysmal with no true PG and really a lack of shooting across the board. -

Seems as though he’s at or near the top of the board, yeah -
Not concerned about Winfield going to USC. Recruiting is far from over, and USC hasn’t had an opportunity to crap the bed again.
