If you go big boy recruiting, you go big boy spending. Maybe it is a strategy. To have others spend money. Going to be harder to flip kids, if they have to pay money back for committing. It is q different world

Turntine and ojo committing on the same day to us should be a lot of sunshine for the sky is falling folks over the past week.

Turntine and Ojo commiting on the same day

Hey man, at least we aren’t losing recruits to like baylor and tcu anymore. And that was before NIL I don’t know how the hell I became a fan during the Charlie Strong Era.

Felix Ojo will announce his decision on July 4th, per Hayes Fawcett.

Let's revisit in December. I have a feeling we will all be happy with recruiting.

I’d be disappointed with anything less.

Which Longhorn has made the most $$ in the NFL?

Earl Thomas made almost $80 million: https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/earnings/_/id/6523/earl-thomas -
Hope so. If we get Guervil I’ll feel pretty good still. Priority position, expensive to replace in the portal, we were suppose to get him, should be a good barometer.

We have new folks running the show. This is not your old Admin. These folks knew exactly what they were in for when they went all in to join the SEC. They are all in on winning as well. Read into that what you will. Eltife me.

Texas has 3 DL and an edge already committed, not super concerned RB and LB ones to keep an eye on

How many “Hi”s are still out there?

You’re right, but it seems that we are leading for some recruits and at the last minute another school swoops in and takes them. I am assuming it’s NIL, or a bag. And the SEC has always been good at that. It’s because I trust our recruiters that I think this is true. The rules are the only thing that has charged since last couple of stellar years (we are still doing pretty good). Just think we might need to adjust, other schools are. As pointed out in the Sunday conversation.
