I have no idea how you recruit a small forward when you have to wait to know if you really need one. -

Yesterday was Ruger's mom's birthday. He gifted her the game ball and the lineup card after the game: -

Dailyn Swain's spot in mock drafts continues to rise
Jeff Howe replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
If you're looking for something that gives hope of Swain returning to Texas, he wasn't listed on this CBS Sports mock draft, which was published Friday. -
A mock draft from USA Today, which was published before Thursday's Sweet 16 loss to Purdue, had Swain mocked 24th overall to the Denver Nuggets. Here's the analysis: "After transferring from Xavier to Texas during the offseason and then leading his team to the Sweet 16, Dailyn Swain has become one of the more intriguing breakout players in college basketball. The All-SEC forward is versatile and contributes a little bit of everything for the Longhorns on both sides of the ball, scoring well both in the paint and on fastbreaks. Another element that is notably compelling is that Swain is efficient one-on-one in isolation against his defenders."

In the WNBA it's the wing and four spot right now that's carries you. Booker should be a diet Napheesa until she gets her sea legs under her in the league. Crazy how different the two leagues are. -

I don't like Vanderbilt. Their coach is a Geno protégé and very cocky too. -

The discussions on Kanu are interesting. There really isn’t anything in his history to show that he was under consideration as a high draft pick. I’m not sure he has an overwhelming trait and his production is not particularly special. He hasn’t played a huge number of snaps either. I certainly have no inside information on what his draft grade was. In looking at PFF, I don’t see anything that has him inside the top 10 in grading. You are correct in that we played more difficult competition with respect to teams, but the OUs and OSUs were better defensively than offensively. They do show that in our 3 losses he only had 1 pressure. I wouldn’t say PFF skews things, but there certainly should be context applied to the information. Our opponents had Simmons and Hill to contend with whereas others may have been able to focus on the interior Dline. Overall, we have the personnel to be impactful, but it needs to happen. Kanu and Watson have received a bit more hype than what has been earned. They should be better, but we certainly need more impact plays from them. -

Schloss didn’t mislead the Aggies. There are no coaches that really want to be there. The Aggies don’t want to hear it. Truth hurts.
