  1. Past hour
  2. Crazy that this keeps happening
  3. While probably true, never underestimate that fanbases' ability to sustain denial, blame, and underperformance. Between the SEC, officials, ESPN, weather, injuries, and some combo of all of the above mixed with a "tu" conspiracy, he's got plenty of ammo to tap into if he's savvy enough!
  4. That's OK as long as he's a strong boy, right?
  5. Today
  6. I found out recently they don’t really go there anymore. I LIVED on the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes after a hard practice or for a late night snack. They don’t know what they’re missing!
  7. I made it to zero, lol. Previous interviews with this guy were enough for me. (Nick Saban wannabe but short on the character meter imo).
  8. You can start with Kevin Marr, big 12 official from Omaha, NE. Whenever the Horns drew that crew, it felt like a Mafia scum fix. JMO
  9. Gerry, I made it to about 1:15 in & had to turn it off. Maybe Kiffin is an acquired taste - at 66 I don't think it's in the cards for me.
  10. Forgot to post this, but here ya go.
  11. Hayward Howard has Rob Babers 21 . “Hookem “
  12. Is Jelani McDonald officially back in 4 as well? That might confirm which side of the ball Bishop will start out at even though most of us assume he'll start out on offense.
  13. Well, these days...if he has a good attorney he could have another 5-6 seasons! Hook 'Em!
  14. Good luck to the young man. I always remember Stan Thomas at #51. I was at the $MU game in Dallas back in the day when the Ponies were just coming off the Death Penalty and they had a collection of players that resembled an intramural team. Big Stan Thomas had been wearing out the $MU player across from him and finally, the guy let go with a cheap shot to Stan's Nether Region. Total blindside shot-- the worst I've ever seen. Stan buckled to the turf. The officials threw flags and caps and the offending $MU player was kicked out of the game. The benches cleared, but no fight ensued. I thought the Longhorns almost felt sorry for them because the physical size and talent mismatches were so obvious. Best wishes to Turntine and Hook 'Em!
  15. I've always thought that #99 looked cool on both the home and away Longhorns jerseys. Same for #88.
  16. I've called those years as the "Decade of Doom," because it certainly felt like a Decade. I began following the Longhorns in 1968, and the "Decade of Doom" was the only period of time when I got depressed and almost gave up hope. I was disappointed when the Horns lost to the Washington Huskies because they felt so close to winning it all, but Texas ran into the hottest opposing QB I've ever seen. I'm happy with the program under Steve Sarkisian because I remember '10-'15 so vividly. Hook 'Em!
  17. I wish PK the best - good luck in the NFL !
  18. I hope the Cardinals get rid of Kryler Murray so I can cheer for them on occasion
  19. Yesterday
  20. He really has nothing left to prove at the college level. He was an elite Coordinator at 3 different schools and 2 different levels. At 59, he probably has a good 8-10 years left.
  21. Based on 247Sport, Texas offer 14 OTs and only 4 IOLs (2027).
  22. No recruiting duties. That's a win for him.
