  1. Past hour
  2. It is crazy that the face value of this game was $175....only mild inflation over the last 20 years. 🤣
  3. Yes we lost 2 guys that we got in the portal to the draft last year
  4. Today
  5. Unfortunately didn’t get to watch any of these guys. I’m just here waiting on @Joe Zura to drop his favorite gif
  6. We’re 67 days away from Texas football. Today’s group features Glen Halsell, Julius Whittier, Jay Humphrey and Will Wilcox. Halsell was an All-American and All-SWC linebacker on the 1969 national title team, while Whittier became the first African-American football letterman in Texas history and later went into the Texas Athletics Hall of Honor. Humphrey was an All-American tackle who helped clear the way for Ricky Williams’ Heisman season, and Wilcox was a multi-year letterman and contributor up front in the mid-1970s. Who's your favorite?
  7. I’m not crying, you’re crying
  8. it's all for negotiating his money (Draft Slot), if he doesn't get the amount he wants, he just follows his coach to South Carolina and re-enters next year. he'll get his money unless the Mets draft him because they're idiots.
  9. I was there the year prior against Michigan 🤘🏽
  10. I was there with wife. Incredible game and experience
  11. In living flesh and will never forget that day, game and epic evening 🤘
  12. Love when he puts that helmet on! Another version of "Boom"!
  13. Probably Faizon Brandon, but the battle wasn’t settled between he and George MacIntyre coming out of the spring.
  14. I have to admit, I was not sold on us getting this kid, but with the way LSU is stacking Dline, we need all the freaks we can get.
  15. I have never been a soccer fan. The sport was fairly obscure relative to other sports when I was growing up, but this World Cup and the success the US team is experiencing is going to be a huge boost to the sport here. Love the energy behind this tournament.
  16. sorry i meant baseball not being played @ high level world-wide. basketball definitely has some european leagues.
  17. I was there. Great day !
  18. Best sporting event I ever attended.
  19. You mean like the olympics? Or just one sport specific event--like Rugby and Cricket. Also, basketball has the FIBA championships every 4 years, and baseball has the World Baseball Classic. The problem with those as compared to soccer is that soccer is just so much more widespread. Not many countries play cricket or rugby (basically just former British colonies except the US) competitively. Even basketball and baseball are not really played at a high level in too many countries (maybe Japan or Korea and some caribbean/south american countries?) wheras the Spanish league, Italian league, Premier league are all considered better than the MLS. Even the Dutch and Turkish leagues have a history of producing competitive teams and there's all the teams in South America and now the African Continent. Anyway, my favorite part is seeing the visitors trying texas BBQ and Chik-fil-a and drinking all the beer in places like Boston. I live in Philly and all the Croatians and Ghanians were out this past weekend. Amazing.
  20. Great stuff as always, Jeff. I'm curious, with Tennessee being our first SEC game in 2026, who do we expect their QB to be?
  21. Beat OSU and steal Jacobs and Fakatou. But Jacobs would be insane if we could make it happen.
  22. World Cup has been amazing would love to see more sports adopt something like this.
  23. Might be a bit of a stupid question, as I'm still learning about everything baseball but if he's a first round draft pick, is he worth pursuing? Didn't Texas get burned last off-season by two guys who were draft picks and said they weren't going, only to then end up signing?
  24. what a game Morocco played.
