I put very little stock in what some random assistant coaches who take the time to call The Film Guy think about the matchup. That being said it's going to take an effort from this team we have not seen this year for four quarters to win the game. I think UGA wins but not by two scores.

We kickin their ass!

I remember when we didn't have a chance against Nebraska in the first Big 12 Championship game. Also, we were going to get plowed under by Southern Cal and their 2 Heisman winners.

Film guy says that the coaches he is hearing from are giving different reasons. I don’t think many are giving us a chance in this game. We need to go punch them in the mouth and shock the football world -

Yes, I have. Anything can happen but an honest and true evaluation does not lead one to believe Georgia will kill Texas. I am not a true believer in the Texas Oline, but a true analysis would reveal that Brooks was the weakest link. Go figure. It was reported here that he had no work at G prior to being inserted. I don’t anticipate a great rushing performance but that’s not needed if we work our passing game appropriately. It is a smaller sample but no one has picked Texas apart when at full strength. Not Ohio State. Not OU. And of the lesser teams - not SJSU. So we shall see on that front. I’m not sure Georgia has seen a front capable of creating pressure like Texas. Kentucky had success, but 13 points. This Texas is likely its healthiest all season. There’s a good chance this is the most equipped OLine we have had all season. The Oline, QB, WRs have had 3/4 of a season to see what defenses will throw at them. We shall see. -
I haven't heard anything about this guy this season. I know who he is behind A Hill. Is he doing well behind the scenes. I thought he might take over at middle next year with Ant Hills probably departure to NFL. Any mods have any scoop on him? Wasn't he a composite 5 star?

I know there are pretty girls that go to that school but Baton Rogue is an armpit. Don't get the draw to that school.- 1 reply

So… what happened to Thursday night college football? This used to be a thing!!! Like, a real weekly ritual — a big-enough stage that you’d plan dinner around it, flip on ESPN, and watch some random ACC or Big East game that somehow felt important because it was the only show in town. Now? Crickets. One MAC game here, a stray C-USA game there, but nothing that feels like appointment viewing. I know the NFL muscled in, I know coaches hate short weeks, and I know TV networks reshuffled the whole calendar… but still. For a sport that clings to tradition, it’s wild how quickly we all pretended Thursday nights never mattered.

How Texas and Tulo train middle infielders
Steamboat Willie replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Say what you want about Schloss (and it better be good), but the guy has a PhD in building middle infields. Wherever he goes, the shortstop and second baseman play like they’re auditioning for a fielding clinic video. Smooth hands, great turns, zero panic. It’s been his calling card forever. -
Yes it is… le sigh. Hopefully, we play them the same intensity and focus we played OU and OSU

We tend to show up in shock the world moments. Doesn’t mean we always win, but we come to play and hold our own. Too much talent and this version of the program has culture too. -

Have you seen Texas play this entire year - other than against Vandy? I predicted Georgia 34 - Texas 17/ Texas is weak on the OL and won't be able to run on Georgia (we haven't been able to run on anyone). That will allow them to pick their pressures/coverages to confuse Arch. Texas has been picked apart by lesser QBs and Stockton can scramble and hit the short throws. They can nickel and dime their way down the field if they want. You still have to play the game, but it's not surprising someone thinks Georgia will kill Texas... -

That’s honestly the vibe I feel right now. It’s up to Sark to get these guys dialed in and ready to punch Georgia in the mouth repeatedly over four quarters. -
