March Madness 2026 Thread

I know I know that it's the first round and games like these are expected, but I swear it's more entertaining to watch my dog being every toy she owns to my bed is more exciting😂 -
That is remarkable gift that he shares with some of our greatest political figures. Like Alex wrote, I wish I had a little of that gift. FDR supposedly could do the same thing, except he could also remember all the names of someone’s family members that he met on the campaign trail several years earlier.

Yep, Buckeyes are getting smoked right now.
-
Apparently neither did Ohio State. Down 15 to TCU right now.

OTF Premium The latest on Jonah Williams after shoulder surgery

His Dad is a Judge in Galveston. Good judgment will be used in Jonah’s decision to play one or both sports. We will probably know soon hopefully. Glad our coaches will support whatever Jonah decides. Hope Jonah heals well he will be phenomenal what ever his decision turns out to be. -
The first tournament win ever for Nebraska is inevitable.
-
Troy has no business being on the floor today.

Good. I see no reason to force him to choose. It's his life. If he doesn't want to specialize, then UT shouldn't make him. He needs to understand that might limit his ability to contribute at a max level to each team or limit his development in the sports, but so be it. -
Had the same experience with him. I went to his introductory celebration in Austin, and they were running late getting him to the Palmer Event Center. I decided to step outside to satisfy my tobacco habit, and in walked David McWilliams (who I knew) and Coach Brown. He asked my name, and whether I could punt. Fast forward 10 or so years and I ran into him again. He remembered my name and that conversation about punting and he asked if I still had eligibility. I haven't met anyone before or since that had that unique ability to remember faces/names and the grace to joke about things that make someone like me smile a little wider.

I've never seen such a loose handle in my life. Coach always said if you play with your food in front of a dawg, don't be surprised when he takes it😂 SMH. Come on Troy do better🤷🏿 -
TCU taking it to them. Shooting % better from 3 than from inside 3' but whatever works. And they are totally locking down OSU w/ D and blocks and boards. 🤘
-
Ohio State will always have football. They did win a hoops natty in the ‘60s and made multiple Final Fours in ‘99, ‘07 and ‘12 though.
-
6 brave souls in this one.
-
Ohio State looks terrible. TCU is swarming them defensively and 6-12 from deep.
-
TCU should be up like 20 if they could make 2' shots... 🤘
-
-
They're straight punking Ohio State on the boards right now.
-
Akron may be my mortal lock
-
I looked down at some point after making my bracket and saw I had all 11 seeds moving on. Had to tweak my algorithm.
-
TCU looks like a bunch of guys from intramurals or something.🤣 🤘
- Today
-
The 5-12 and 4-13 matchups intrigue me this year.
-
Would very much like it if Ohio State could be the orange in the hoop.

I was told this morning there isn't expected to be a choice between football or baseball from Jonah – at least not now. What's next for Jonah this spring will be a lot of film/classroom work with Gideon and Muschamp for the fall. Plus his physical rehabilitation. -
TCU / OSU who you got? 2 of my least favorite schools, so I'm watching while sitting on my hands... 🤘
